Another walk around Dartmoor National Park.
This time checking out Meldon Reservoir, Yes Tor, Oke Tor and East Mill Tor.
Just over 9 miles walked on the hottest day of the year so far, this one was a struggle!

Awesome. So, what was the concrete column with the threaded inert for? And, as you are aware, i like history. So if there's some history of the area you can share while you're "gadding about", could you share it, at least what you know?

The column is a trig point, they are used to mark the highest point on the hill and for mapping the area.
Unfortunately I don’t know much about the history, I just like exploring new places.
