My 2000 xj runs and looks new. It’s tucked away for another winter. I’m so happy I got a good one as it’s almost too late to buy a good one or find a good one cheap
They have become quite expensive in my country and it's not easy to find good one. I drive mine everywhere and it took me everywhere, but it was also very well maintained. I really love XJs! 🙂
I agree. Maybe it will happen in the future considering how popular the XJ was. But unfortunately I doubt that the legendary 4.0 engine will ever happen again.
When ya'll hit that clay the bottom fell out lol. Those trails and woods looks so amazing to me, greetings from the Arkansas man living in the west texas desert
Iako smo to prije mjesec i pol prošli svi, sad nije išlo. Površina je bila malo smrznuta pa je dif više zapinjao, dovoljno da stane.
"lots of mud" is an understatement. Ruts so deep the guy with the largest tires rules the trail! Looks like that wench saved the day for the rest of you in this fine ,sloppy, video. BTW, what's an OME 6.5+ inch lift kit ?
OME 6.5 is lift kit, leaf springs, shocks etc. and it is lifted even more with pucks. I don't know how much it was lifted in total so I wrote 6.5+ 😁 It has 35s and he installed rear locker.
@@V8AmericanMuscleCar Yes, I have their springs and shocks on both my truck and jeep. For an XJ, their front springs lifted my XJ 2=1/4" and with all 5 springs in back 3-1/4". He must have tall spacers and shackles and long arm lower control arms
@@V8AmericanMuscleCar Thanks a lot for info. I just like this Jeep a lot. It definitely stands out of the crowd. I'm also considering to buy one as daily car for longer trips not just driving around town. Would you recommend me this Jeep? I'm not really a hard off-road guy, I won't rev it to high RPMs. I also heard that 2,5td engine is unreliable but If I won't do a dumb shit and I will take care of the car, I guess it should be fine then?
@@slvko35 I have two XJs with 2.5 TD engine in my family and zero problems. But there are some rules. This vehicle is not for high speeds. Up to 120 kmh and you're fine, everything more and if you keep it for a long time in high RPMs it can cause overheating and heads cracking. If that's not a problem, with regular maintenance you're fine. Also it can run on any type of wasted oils without any modifications. 😉

The one "dislike" for this video is the dude that wished he owned an XJ 🤣🤣
😅 Thanks! I appreciate it.
Love XJs. I've got a 1996 and a 2000. Nothing else like 'em.
I agree! ❤️
I have 97 and my father 95, both turbo diesels.

Jeep must reborn this amazing vehicle alongside with that bullet-proof inline six cilinder engine. Greetings from Costa Rica.

nice jeeps guys wish i was playing in the mud right now looks so fun
Thanks! It’s a lot of fun until you need to wash the Jeep. 😅
Nice you guys get rowdy
Thanks! 🙋
I can’t wait to get a lift in my jeep, it’s awesome how much they can do stock though 💯
XJs are very capable vehicles even stock with street tires. Also they are not too big and not too small, perfect for the trails.
@@V8AmericanMuscleCar you got that right! Best suv ever made haha 😆
Great video! I'm so jealous that you have the 2.5l diesel XJ's over there!! We had the 2.1l but they're very hard to find.
Thanks!
But you have cheap fuel. 😉
@@V8AmericanMuscleCar how expensive is fuel there?? Here in California it’s $4.75 (USD) per gallon or $1.25/L
@@WAROFFROAD it is currently almost $2 per liter. 😕
Looks like a fun day. Nice driving too. Stock XJs are very capable, a small lift goes a long way too.
Thanks for the comment. Yes that was fun. 🙂
And yes I agree about XJs. Even stock without lift kit these Jeeps can go places.
Excellent promance...
Thanks for taking a look.
Keep those videos coming!💪
Thanks man! 🙋🏻♂️
Cherokee are so badass I’ve had 5 of them hahah
My favorite 4x4 vehicle. 🙂
Awesome dudes 👍

very nice 👌

You're taking it to really high RPMs. Don't you have problems with overheating? I mean 4.0 would be probably fine, but not sure about 2.5TD VM engine.
Not a problem if it’s for a short time. If it is kept at a high RPMs for a longer time, then it starts to heat up.

What size lifts are these?
Take a look at the video description. For each Jeep it says which lift kit and tires it has. 😉

2.5 is worthless put a 4.0 in it
