Tell you the truth I don't even know what I was trying to say.... But I think what I was trying to say great job.... Speak to text on my phone is absolute trash....
Wow, you are a very thorough teacher, thank you so much!!! You were recommended to me by someone on a graphite and charcoal Facebook page!! So many tutorials do not explain about pressure used, they just show themselves making circles. I use regular card stock to practice on, it is smooth and hardly has any tooth or roughness at all. Thank you also for narrowing down the pencils and stick you use. I was confused because I soon realized I could get quite a range of values with a 2B pencil.
You're the best Lyd, Your comments mean so much to me. I'm glad my tutorials are that helpful to you. 😁😁 Different brands of 2B will offer different levels of darkness. The paper also matters on how dark a pencil will get. I'm trying out a very smooth paper like yours, barely without any tooth and you'll be shocked at how dark a flimsy HB pencil gets with it.
Through many years of shading I couldn’t grasp that realistic shading but this tutorial helped me so much on what I was doing wrong it wasn’t complicated either to understand.
“Remove excess powder on a sheet of paper…” 😆💡💡💡 Love your videos and follow all your recommended techniques. I’ve just been missing this step and kept wondering why it’s so messy all the time! 😆😆 And thanks for all those tiny details others never mention like circular motion for blending, and tip of brush for charcoal powder application! Thanks so much! 🙏🙏❤️❤️
Thanks bro, after you get rid of the excess powder, hold the brush at the end of the stick and apply light pressure. Gradually add more pressure and powder to make it darker. Maybe this might help to make things less messy. 👍😉
@@JasonLegendaryArt i’m glad you saw my message because I really do love your voice and the things you say! I hope u never stop and your channel becomes huge
Beautiful work. I am always afraid of getting my work too dark. Yours came out really nice. I shade very light, so I never thought about using charcoal powder. I use graphite powder instead, though, I hate the shine it creates. Love your work. It’s amazing.
Watched all the tutorials but didn't find any video like your tutorial which is very simple yet very informative. Thanks for the tutorial. You're gonna be the reason I'm going to become much better at realistic drawing. ❤❤
I love watching and listening to your drawings, because I learn a lot from it, But brother,do you really that same charcoal powder method,to shade the eyes, nose, and mouth
I also blend with the tissue but used back and forth method. After this it'll be circular all the way...thanks a lot. You are amazing.
Hey Kevin, thanks for stopping by. Love your comments
Try using paint brushes too bro ...... U can try flat and round brushes ✌️🙃
