UPDATE: My new Jason cosplay is complete! So I tried using your tip of spraying heavily diluted black and brown acrylic paint on the costume parts and unfortunately it wasn't working. So I decided to use the flat black spray paint technique that you used in this video and it came out great! Once again, thank you for this video. It helped me a lot for getting my cosplay the way I wanted it.

using a heavy water diluted black and brown acrylic mix with in a spray bottle. (One spray bottle full of water and 3 drops of black and 3 drops of brown acrylic paint, shake well then apply it to the jacket and let dry, the water will disappear and some of the paint will remain on the jacket and make it look dirty and grimey.
@@CS5UNMASKED Thanks! My cosplay is not exactly a 2009 version but it's inspired by it. I'm going with an olive green jacket that's made up of two jackets like the remake, a charcoal gray shirt, and brown pants.
