Traditional uluva Mango Pickle: Without preservatives, Long Life Uluva Mango Pickle Recipe, Easy to Prepare Try it & enjoy.
Ingredients
Nattu Mango 5kg
Chilli Powder 500g
Salt 500g
Asafoetida 2tbsp
Turmeric powder 1tsp
Fenugreek powder 4tbsp
Gingely Oil 2 Tbsp
Preparation
Let the mango pieces salted for 3 days. Mix all powders in salt water drained from mango. Mix mango in it and saute well. Keep in air tight containers by putting a banana leaf rushed in gingely oil, to avoid fungus. Keep it for 3 weeks and use it. Enjoy the traditional kerala style "Uluva Mango Pickle" having no preservatives.
