    Please let talk about the prices because even though the design and the whole branding is awesome, the prices are ridiculously high for the ordinary Ghanaian.

    No Ghanaian in their right mind would confuse a regular African American for a white person. Obroni many times means westerner or even a Ghanaian who’s lived in the west for a long time. Secondly there are so many educated people in Ghana who definitely don’t go around calling people Obroni to their face. Please don’t stereotype us.

  • @abbassaquee286
    @abbassaquee286 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Brother Tim you not helping mattet by keeping using the word obroni to refer to African Americans am not having a pop. I am from Sierra Leone we don't called African Americans whites unless they look whites which some people will find it hard to tell because there are some African Americans who look whjite like Mariah Carey and Wentworth Miller to name but few.

      I am from Congo and we also do not call.any black from the diaspora white. We call AA americans or black americans.
      But do agree with you, they complain ghanians calling them borini but still refer to themselves at obruni when talking with locals

      Abbas let me educate u in Ghana obroni is a loaded word it does not only mean white or light skinned black person because he is African american obroni is like saying american as well...
      So relax and stop making it a big deal.

      @@africaine4889 obroni is a loaded word which can mean white,light skinned,or American..that is why he refers himself as obroni..i am Ghanaian but live abroad and have an american accent so I will be called obroni as well....or is akata better?
