When these people insult Jesus, they are insulting your beliefs, but are also insulting our prophet, since we believe in him too, just with the slight difference of believing he is a human who did not die but instead went up to heaven. We do believe, as you do, that his purpose was to spread God's word and that he will return. We support you and agree with you on this matter and I was burning with anger while listening to these ignorant, disgusting claims. The fact of the matter is, while they are insulting Jesus under the guise of Christianity, it hurts and angers us Muslims too, and we should all stand together on this matter. If we look at the original text in hebrew- it speaks about the women's hip to dwindle.

I’m a sorely inadequate cafeteria catholic at best, but these demons made my blood boil.
The problem with some of these people are they are trying to box God in these concepts that are limited and finite, forgetting that God cannot fit in these boxes (regardless of if they are ridiculous). Like God isn’t autistic. That’s a human concept and God isn’t just “neurodivergent” because He is so much MORE than that. People try to bring God to a human level to understand Him, forgetting that He is a mystery.

I don't know if you'll ever read this, Michael, but I started watching your content as an atheist, then as an agnostic, and now a believer in secret. I don't talk about it with the people close to me, but I do feel like I felt what could be described as god. Part of what changed my mind was you and Matt's content and seeing how perverse the other side is, coupled with researching the Mandelbrot set. That mathematical set shows what I always believed, that each piece of the whole contains the whole, that the whole of existence lies within each of us. As a staunch atheist, this was the confirmation I needed to shift me towards believing, it wasn't enough to see the evil of the world for me, which is sad that I ignored it all for so long and took mathematics to convince me, when there are people who just got it by looking at corruption. Needed proof for my faith. What does that say about me :/

I may not be religious, but it angers me when they spread lies and misinformation about religious texts. As I said I am not religious, however I do believe in religious values and virtues, and it is an absolute disgrace to see mankind fall so far and invent issues that aren't even there. To slander the Quran, the Bible and even going to attack worshippers in their place of worship, just leaves me disappointed in the human race.

i stopped being catholic/religious bc i never experienced anything spiritual, but it does annoy me when ppl act like catholicism/god is changeable and malleable. So, in this case, little to zero men have someone to speak their issues to, possibly leading to depression and other problems.

I'm just going to say, as a former atheist converted Christian, my life got a lot happier and easier once I started going to church and trying my best to follow God's word. Now I have all kinds of stories where I have prayed and asked things of God and he answered every time.

Saying that love is an emotion is mistaking intimacy with love. Love is a choice/action, not an emotion. Its the fact that people think its an emotion that has caused the number of divorces to skyrocket recently. They have that emotional connection and get married, but don't realize that love is an action, so eventually their emotions change, and they "fall out of love", so they get divorced. Whether you are Christian or not, the best summation of what love is comes from the bible 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
Many people, especially in this day and age would probably disagree with me on this point, but I 100% stand by this point. Any relationship, and I mean literally any relationship, will work out, if you assume love is an action, use the above definition, and both parties make active effort to follow it.

In the context of the kind of marriage established in the Garden of Eden, the bond between husband and wife, it's a wonderful definition. But in the context of the Last Supper, it's the wrong type of love that is being read into John 13:23. Based on the whole of the Gospel of John, the more accurate love being expressed in stanza 23 would be the Philia, the brotherly love Christ had for His disciples, especially John of Patmos.
