Totally agree w/ you. The UFC is more consistent. Also, seeing the quarterback acting like a diva when the ref doesn't save him... C'mon. Fighting feels more natural, more ingrained into us. If someone loses a game of football, they can always say "Oh yeah? I might've lost at football, but I can still kick your a**." NO ONE loses a fight and says, "Yeah you kicked my a**... but I can still beat you at football!!!"
The cool thing about NFL is that it pays incredibly well so the most elite specimen athletes gravitate to it. Weight classes 185-heavyweight would look so much better if they could pay the rare freak athletes of those sizes. MMA is so much more watchable with ads for sure though.
From somebody who grew up watching both ,I’ll give the edge to NFL,ufc fighters get robbed,horrible stoppage, stupid rankings that really don’t mean much and champions taking long layoffs and ranked fighters not fighting
I don't see how it's been an awful year, dude. It's not the best year ever, but: Strickland vs DDP down-to-the-wire fight, Topuria vs Volk, UFC 300 was *incredible*, Islam vs Poirier war, Adesanya vs DDP, Holloway vs Topuria & Chimaev vs Whittaker, etc. If you're going to criticize the Apex Fight Night cards, I'll give you that. Regardless, it's been a good year.

2024 has been an awful year for MMA but if you don’t know any better it seems great
