When I was younger, I was absolutely convinced from this line and the fact that there was always a space left in the menu's character roster that there was a way to get Toad into the party with a bazooka. :(

That heartwarming feel when you see the scene in the cloud castle where the team cheers...and Bowser cheers with them. This game is why he's my favorite character. Such a big heart in that scaly body.
You know what I love about this game (aside from, y'know, everything else)? This is a JRPG, and the main villains are based on weapons you regularly *use* in JRPGs. You don't see anyone pick up a sword or dagger in this one!

This is the best tribute to this fantastic gem of a game I have ever seen. Geno may not be in smash this game, or ever, but videos like these remind me that he, or this game isn't forgotten. It's just as fantastic now as it was upon release.

I didn't realize that the song for a town taken over by the smithy gang, and the song for a smithy gang boss fight, were basically the same song until I listened to this. I am not a smart person.

This is just an incredible remix. In fact, it transcends what is normally done with remixes, and becomes an experience onto itself. What a great tribute to one of the best games of all time. I usually detest metal remixes, but this is done so artfully and with diverse enough instrumentation to appeal to all demographics. It helps that you are a musician recording live signal and not just a "DJ" that mixes digital samples. Good luck with expanding your fanbase, it is a shame that, while your subscriber count is growing, it is not yet at the level that you deserve. I can't believe that I am discovering you just now. Among being fiscally abused by my grandmother and neglected by my mother, playing Mario RPG with my uncle and sister is the only thing I feel nostalgic about from my childhood. You seem to love Super Mario RPG too much because of the amount of work put into this. And SMRPG totally deserves it. And regarding your medley, the intro gave me goosebumps. The Bowser battle song was fucking awesome. 9:57 was so damn heavy. That shredding at the mine cart song. The volcano song. The quality the arrangements is superb. I loved it, and this comes from someone who doesn't really like metal covers of VG music that much.
Damn right this game deserves this much love. I haven't found a Mario game as awesome as this one since. Sure, there's been some really good ones here and there, but this one is just in a class of its own. Not even Paper Mario 64 and Thousand Year Door were as enjoyable, and those were almost as good, but not quite on par. And yea, the music in this is really well done, especially Smithy's final battle theme. Really love the guitar and heavy metal themes in it.
