Idk if this is a stupid question, but one thing ive never been sure of is if the chords written are in concert pitch or Bb pitch. I assume they're Concert pitch right?
In music for Bb instruments it's typically transposed to Bb for ease of soloing. I can't say always, but all the music I've seen is transposed to Bb already.

1) Clifford became famous as a trumpet player.
2) The sound of a Flügelhorn (Bügel) is less direct, less straight and in a way a little "artificial".
