If you didn't get this release, Hasegawa re-released this kit as Shin Kazami's F-20 from the Area 88 manga/anime series. Same mold, different decals to match the anime series.
@13:00 The first prototype drawing has an error. The real-life F-20 #1 had an F-5E style canopy. This drawing depicts the #1 prototype with an F-20 standard canopy. The canopy on F-20 #2 and #3 was a "panoramic canopy." It was bumped up and gave better rearward visibility. It's a really obvious visual difference when you see the planes posed with the #1 F-20 in photos. The #1 plane was never fully configured as representative F-20. It didn't have the canopy or avionics of the intended F-20 production plane. It was basically configured as the original F-5G concept plane with minimal changes from the F-5E aside from the rear fuselage and engine bay changes. For its entire existence, the #1 plane flew with an F-5E canopy.
I have one, great kit, Thanx for sharing Bobby.
uUeful review Bobby . Helped me decide to pick one up.
