What happens when a person drills a hole in a 6-meter-tall part of a 10-meter-tall tree and puts medicine in it? 1. Only the tree above the hole dies. 2. Whole trees die. I appreciate if you reply.
My understanding is that it depends upon the time of year. In the fall and winter the cambium transfers nutrients down to the roots. It would transfer the killer downward and kill the roots, thereby killing the tree for good. In the spring, the killer would be transferred upward, thereby killing the leaves. The roots would not be dead, however, and they would send up new shoots the next spring. I think this is close.
i think you mean going forward not in reverse. you can tell its in reverse by looking at the rotation direction vs the drill bit direction, also you can look at the button on the drill and see that the left side is out which is for reverse.
@@bryankeith2702 Bad eye. He is wrong on both. The button sticking out on the left side means it is in FORWARD mode, and 0.25 playback speed you can clearly see this in case you do not know which side the button means
Tordon RTU, Imazapyr (Arsenal). The goal is to get the tree/plant to transport the herbicide down into the roots. Some trees will just pop up shoots even if you cut them down, so apply around the growth ring within minutes after they're cut down.
I thought you had to completely "girdle" the cambium. That's the way invasive Eucalyptus is treated with Roundup here in California. If drill & fill works, it would be a lot faster.

what is the name of the filling liquid and its concentration?
All the videos I see on youtube show small trees like this one. This method don't seem to work with realy big trees?

how long dose it take to kill it
Hint: Having a sharp drill bit speeds up this process.

zerocool212121. good eye.
@@zerocool212121 The button is out on the left, that is FORWARD, not reverse. Just slow down the playback speed to see it rotate forward.

False. The cambium layer is only 1/4 below the bark.
You didn't mention the components of herbicide used for spraying!

I was wondering which concentrate are you using?
Tordon RTU is a deep blue color.
The hack and squirt method works well for me and is much faster

ok
My chainsaw would kill that tree in like 10 seconds
If this tree is invasive why wait until it’s almost matured.
Because you didn't own the tree 10 years ago
THIS WILL KILL ADJACENT TREES. I did this and it killed a HUGE sweetgum 20 feet away.
Might be easier to find a feeder root- presumably only good for young trees...
No
How brutally he is killing this plant so bad😡😢😔
prince kumar sure up fake prince..
welcome to the city genie
prince kumar x
if you have furniture a your house you are a killer too haha
you should not take in that sense. He obviously removed the unwanted one to let grow others just like we weed or kill mosquitos for better life.
