You can stack infinite spell slots and sorcery points, with the shield u can buy from vendor in last light, it gives u 1 spell slot, u turn it in a sorcery point, unequip and equip again, so u get agais 1 spell slot, turn it into a sorcery point again and repeat process.
It's called an exploit...The way he show is more "legal", but I still don't get how can you have so many spells slots in the video, how many potions do you need to achieve these amounts? Not sure you can find a merchant who refill stock of these potions somewhere.
Quick question on your older video, Circle of Spores Druid you used Shaleleh (Misspelled) on both torches by swapping hands very quickly. How do you do this on console?
Nice video, but I have to say that some solo Durge runs can be problematic, since many enemies upon leaving combat will auto-heal, so the Mantle is not great against enemies you can't one shot. Just saying :)
@@TheSpudKing It ruined several solo HM attempts for me. If the AI spent a full turn in turn based mode searching before ending combat, then it would be different. Great build nonetheless :)
As Duregar though, you should be able to position yourself to take out weak enemies first. On the tougher ones, have quickened spell or haste so you can cast a control spell like hold person or command to keep them locked down. Fear and Prone is great too if you have a warlock level
As dark urge if she isn’t knocked out she’ll come to your camp & something will happen that locks her out. Even if you save the grove & continue the story & the tieflings leave. As long as she’s still awake she’ll always come to the camp.
Is it worth it to take 2 levels of GOO warlock for EB (force damage) and repelling blast? It would also give you 2 high level spell slots that refresh on short rest. I think with stormy clamor boots and spine shudder amulet you can prone enemies often (eb is cantrip with 3 bolts vs fireball has one) and then the AOE fear from mortal reminder on crits will keep them down a turn. Might only be needed for fire resistant enemies? I guess you lose the extra damage from the elemental necklace.
maybe just one level of GOO to get mortal reminder, command and EB? Basically the famous 11/1 Fire Sorlock build. Command is great because it doesn't require concentration. You lose one feat, but would not need spell sniper per se. If using EB & Magic missile wear spineshudder and swap to elemental augmentation when doing fire damage? Seems like boots of stormy clamor are really good - guessing phalar aluve shriek also counts as a condition and triggers the reverb?
Yeah, its an option too , spell slots would be only lvl1 though, but thats fine too . And yeah, for this one i picked spell sniper. But almost as always, no perfect choices, pros and cons everywhere
@@TheSpudKing thanks - although aren't the warlock spell slots always max level? Max would be level 5 vs 6 thogh. I also came up with a decent variant of this using 6 light cleric / 4 sorc / 2 div wiz.. Most of the rest of the build works the same with fire acuity, except you get command from being a cleric. More of a jack of all trades, but another way to get command as an option vs warlock that is still a full caster.
Neat video! I just dislike builds that require certain races. If I did this I would go a different race than a dwarf, purely for personal taste. Great video though.
You can pick any race though. Honestly, the best races for a Fire Sorc build would be a Wood Half Elf for the move speed and shield proficiency at the beginning of the game, fire Dragonborn for the innate fire resist and fire breath attack (to stay on theme) or any Halfling for the Lucky passive.
@@deadeyexl8392 - Yea, I was thinking Dragonborn myself. Have yet to do a dragonborn playthrough. Currently doing my honor mode run now, just made it to the steel factory!
