The slam collision on low objects that you should be able to jump pack over is really annoying with this class. Other than that I really enjoy assault a lot. The collision for the ground pound needs fixed badly tho I whiff so many ground pounds that way
I could be wrong but I think that the extra damage on charging the slam is a perk? I haven't noticed a difference with charging it regularly leveling up the fist.
@mattmelton7389 @Yeertski IT's a perk called Diligence (Gear, last column, 2nd row) Full preparation of ground pound last 25% longer but gives +20% dmg). For a long time I thought that the 1st perk in this column (25% more dmg for 10s for ground slam) is better, but after playing a lot with Diligence it seems you can get more out of it. Especially now when Assault got a short period of invincibility when you go into the air). Seriously recommend for enemies above Majoris!
The perk that gives more damage for a longer charge time? Fairly sure that's extra charge up power in exchange for more time in the air, in addition to what you get by default
yeah :( people under 100 hours of gameplay like that video but you show up nothin . on lethal level u need land jump pack attack on tyranid and after make 2 charged attack with double hammer ground kick - this is unusable garbage gameplay . Assault is garbage even for purple token sometime - his jump pack not even stand considering with Bolt Carbine and Heavy melta Gun

if you time your ground slam you can interrupt the hive tyrants 3 shout wave

Love using assault against the hive tyrant its so effective. Neo volkite + balance 🔨 its good.
You can have 20-30k melee damage on average with block hammer (lvl 23 perk required).
