Again you have been really busy, beautiful starts! You say you are going to the retreat at Stitch Basel Light! I was there in 2023 and it was amazing. It was my very first retreat and I will be going again in 2025. Basel is a wonderful city and the organizers of the retreat (then Amy - amyjscreations, Dawn - frostyxstitch and Ina - stitchy_ina) did a terrific job! So you will have fun 😃
Beautiful starts 🤩. For the new Carolyn Manning I like the platinum fabric more, but I'm sure it will look gorgeous also on the white fabric☺. I like to stitch 1 over 1 on some projects, I always start my thread with lose end and try to stitch over it. Hope it make sense🙈. Enjoy your vocation
Loved seeing all your new starts! When I stitch with one thread I just trap the tail under the first couple of stitches. I thought the light was actually a little better on your phone than your camera. I record on my phone all the time and haven't had a problem. Enjoy your vacation!
I vote for “Stitchers RSVP” and “A Sampler Garden” to bring on your vacation. Also, of course, “Leave me Alone”, so nobody will bother you while you’re stitching at the pool 🤣 Really enjoyed your video as always. ❤️❤️ Can’t wait for Stitch Basel to see and hug you. Enjoy your well deserved vacation 😘😘
Wonderful to catch up with all your new Maynia starts! You are going to have started more things than me by the end of the year! I look forward to seeing what you decide to take on vacation and your progress when you get back. Have a wonderful break and happy stitching! xx
Hi, I found a 10 minute video by xstitchmd that showed simple starting and stopping with a pin stitch. I’ve been stitching for 60 years and had never heard of the pin stitch. What a wonderful way to start a thread. It even works on Aida. Hope it helps.
Just discovered you, greetings from Germany! 😊 I love the variety of your projects and your color choices. Sulky on 32ct is wonderful - I use variegated colors for a Longdog Sampler and the Fox and Rabbit SAL and I´m very tempted to get the big set of Sulkys I think I saw in the background of your video. Watching your videos doesn´t help with my willpower😄I read in other comments, that you live near xuDesigns? I live about 10 minutes from Zweigart, so I can relate 😊 No off to watch your older videos!
I love your outros - always so funny and i giggle every time. Take care, Nic x
Hi Caroline, thanks so much for the shout out! I love all your projects, as usual, and I hope you have a lovely time on your trip!

Did not notice and problem with video production. Loved your stitching projects. Have wonderful vacation.

Caroline, love all the great fabrics and the way you pick projects to go with those. I am a chicken when it comes to stitching on bright fabrics 😅
First time watching you and you’ve got some amazing projects on the go! Look forward to coming back and seeing your progress!!
Enjoyed seeing your Maynia!!
When I do one over one, I try to put lots of diagonals on the back so I get get the needle through to start and end. Your Manning piece is lovely.
I do a single strand loop start for my 1 x 1 pieces, and then I do waste threads to finish. I love your pieces!
Beautiful work. When I stitch one over one I do a waste knot and stitch over the thread, then clip the knot once the thread is secure.

Thank you! Yes I came across that but I don’t think it works when stitching 1 over 1 on evenweave…
The newer Weeks fabric is on a Zweigart base so doesn't have that problem anymore.
Love your channel.
Thanks so much for letting me know that! I ordered some newer weeks now that states that it is Zweigart and I am very curious to see !

Ooooh how living so close to Zweigart sounds wonderful but very dangerous as well :D
Hi Caroline, it is very dangerous to watch your video. I want to do ALL the projects you showed.
Aww how sweet thank you!
