Shoutout to Bradley Beal though. This man secured a top 3 contract of all time. He was the 4th highest paid star this year with a no trade clause. This is ultimate security with no drawback in pay. The only one I think is better is when Michael Jordan was paid 33 million dollars in 90s. Making more money than entire rosters on over half the nba rosters at the time. Creating the salary cap.
I think Beal is a All-NBA type player, 24 ppg at 50% shooting is solid. He is taking 6-7 less shots than he did when he was at 30ppg.... Also his free throws went down a few after the rule changes.

Rui was up for free agency, and at the time the Wizards couldn't afford to pay extra in order to extend him along with doing the same with Porzingis and Kuzma.
Beal is more of an All-Star level guy than he is All-NBA.
He isn't a great Playmaker & he can be a black hole on Offense.
Also a risk to shoot his team out of Games.
He is a good scorer, but All-NBA is roughly Top 3 (Top 6 for both Guards) & he is nowhere near that level.
