I really cant hand it to Steve's Leaves enough, you get so much value for what you pay for. Everytime i buy from them i expect a small cutting but they are always so generous with their sizes and it keeps me coming back.
I just recently discovered your channel and am so happy I did. You make me smile, keep doing what you do - it's fantastic. BTW, as soon as it warms up just a little, I will be going to Steves leaves and buying a Geogenanthus poeppigii and naming him Nick! 😉
A month ago I ordered a few begonias from Steve’s Leaves thanks to a previous video you made. They were the healthiest plants I’ve ever ordered online. I look forward to ordering more with your discount code. Thank you so much for the great content.
Nick, I just love your enthusiasm and honesty! I really enjoy watching your videos and have recommended your channel to my daughter. She loves to watch your videos now too.
Nick, please please do a care video for your lovely apoballis. I have a baby, and I'd love some tips on how best to care for it. Yours is simply divine!! 😍
I don't know if you have 😅 I was just about to say you need the Perskiifolia then you pulled her out the box !! I've a large one of these that I started from a 2 leaf cutting 🌱💚 Truly an underrated plant and I never hear anyone talking about it. As for the next epipremnum, been on my wish list for yrs !! Love your definetly brings a mile to my face when your video notifications pop up 😊
Hi Nick! I love all of the plants you received. Steve's Leaves did send you some really nice plants. I'm looking forward to seeing what containers you repot them in and where you place them. You mentioned a craft store that you get your glass pieces from. Would you mind sharing? I need some cloches, but haven't found any affordable one. Thank you so much for sharing and showing us Muffin! She's so cute!
Oh my gosh Nick so many gorgeous gorgeous plants from Steve's Leaves, that Syngonium Pink Splash is beautiful, I really love Syngonium and have 11 plants and that one is one my wish list, and also that very last one you unboxed was so incredible. I love Steve's Leaves and have ordered many times from them and never been disapointed when they arrive, their plants are always so full and beautiful, I ordered a lot of Begonias and they are all doing so good still, they really package thier plants so great. Thanks so very much for this awesome unboxing video, I hope that you have a great weekend, sending love and hugs, bye!
I made a purchase right after you posted. I'm in love with the Oxalis triangularis, it came with flowers on it and they're amazing. I also got a peperomia caperata 'Luna Red ', kalanchoe uniflora, tradescantia sillamontana, and a syngonium 'Three Kings'. I now have 6 varieties of tradescantia, they're so low key and can handle zone 9b summers.
Always love and enjoy of course The Plants (!) but also the clean and neat way you do the unboxings! You’re always so exact on placing those plants for the camera after taking them out of the packaging. Love it!
Nick, I am vicariously living through your unboxing videos, especially from Steve's Leaves. I get some great ideas but first I need to figure out where I can make some more growing space in my home. Begonias intrigue me, so I need to also arrange for some humidity levels for them to grow well. I'll be using your code when the weather gets a little bit warmer.
Spiderworts have a short life span, period. You're always going to have to restart the plant. So, if you're buying a somewhat mature plant, getting about 2 years out of it before restaring sounds about right. I have really fantastic luck with all varieties of these, and I pot them in extremely airy/gritty mix, and give them amazing light (some are full sun, and they LOVE it in an unobstructed Southern window). I let them get about 80% dry, and then water. They need more light than most folks think, and they need to dry out, but not *stay* dried out, to be happy.
Given you just unpacked the plants from the shipped box, they are in such a great shape! I´m impressed. Great packing too. I was from the US, I´d happily buy from them too
Dang that was a fantastic haul! I received my first Steve's Leaves order a couple weeks ago. They really have some beautiful selections! I've got a few plants in my cart and just added that Crinipes after seeing yours. 🥰
Thank you so much for that unboxing. The plants are beautiful. I have pen and paper in hand while watching your unboxings. I will be placing my order quite soon. Keep up the great content.
Geogenanthus is a cool species . They do prefer humidity but once you have had them for awhile they acclimate to their space pretty easily and are a bit more tolerant.
Have you grown a episcia dianthaflora? They were a big favorite of mine and not bad about needing a lot of humidity, unlike so many gesneriads. When I was your age our family had greenhouses and a retail plant shop. I was the chief grower! It's interesting how plants go into and out of favor. I haven't seen airplane plants in years even though they are so easy to grow, are beautiful, and clean indoor air. I very much enjoy your vids! BTW can't imagine lack of humidity in Philly!
I got my partner Epipremnum Pinnatum aurea for Xmas! His has soooo much yellow and white. It was a dream plant for him and it’s gorgeous. You’re gonna love watching it grow!
The only plant I've even gotten from Steve's Leaves -- a Hoya linearis -- took about 6 months to take off but is now is lush and amazing. I can't wait to use the code to get more plants!
Those plants look fabulous, hard to believe they came through the mail. I kept getting brief glances of what appears to be a bar behind you which really made me want a drink, I don't have a bar at my house so I feel like I'm missing out. Thanks for another great video, love the cat.
I have a huge epipremnum amplisimum..it's my pride and joy! It's tolerant of many conditions and I keep it in medium/low light and it's thriving..no moss pole and it trails beautifully:)
I just got a Thaumatophyllum stenolobum, too! It's my second time ordering from Steve's Leaves, and I absolutely love them. Also got a Philodendron bipennifolium aurea. Super pumped about both! I'll certainly be making use of that code in the near future, too, so thanks!
Wow, every plant is beautiful, healthy! The last 5 plants are EVERYTHING! Thanks for sharing, heading over to Steve's!! I'm also in Philly, GO EAGLES, RAH!!!
Great u boxing video! Never ordered from Steve's Leaves, but now might be the time. Unbelievable quality of plants delivered in winter. Your knowledge of plants always amazes me and I enjoy your enthusiasm! However, be careful with scissors in your hand while unboxing! You bring me Joy!
Great planters with even greater plants. I'm on the hunt for a large planter for my banana plant. It's about 4 feet tall right not and expected to get more than 6 feet tall. The current boring plastic pot is about 12 inches in diameter. May have to go for an outdoor pot. My fave pots are basalt however I think a baslat planter big enough to hold the banana plant would break the bank.
Begonia Paulensis is one of my favorite plants. I think it is the easiest at the spiderweb begonias to grow. I have grown it outside. I have grown it inside in the winter with low humidity and even low light. The only way to kill it is to over water it. I have found it’s better to underwater this plant than to overwater it. It is difficult to propagate. Once the roots are gone it’s pretty much all over.
As you know Nick I'm in thailand. That first plant... I have one and it's HUGE the splits in the leaves and the huge leaves... goooooooorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Definitely get it on a trellis!
I love that Geoganthus it's been on my wishlist I wonder if I'd kill it though. The begonia is also amazing but I'd definitely kill that I'm horrible with begonia.
Oh my goodness, I've never waited 30 days to repot a plant! 2 weeks at most and many times not at all of I'm worried about pests or soul quality. The only plant that gave me trouble so far is my geogenanthus ciliatus. I transferred it from mud to leca pretty much right away. 😬
Nick love your videos. Just went to Steve's Leaves to order. Since my order was over 200 they gave me a 25% discount. And would not then let me use your code. I'm so sorry. Just was giving you a heads up. Not fair!
Love your channel! I Hope I’m wrong but I thought I saw a web on your begonia paulensis in the close up shot. Just a thought and hoping Im wrong.Glad to see you doing well!
My local plant shop got some Pink Splash last week-it’s sickening! And I don’t like pink variegation, but that syngonium is gorgeous! The leaf shape definitely reminds of a mature syngonium that I owned years ago.
“I never knew I needed this”. Us with all our plants lol
so true😆
I really cant hand it to Steve's Leaves enough, you get so much value for what you pay for. Everytime i buy from them i expect a small cutting but they are always so generous with their sizes and it keeps me coming back.
Facts 🪴
Boom! And Nick my plant guy is back!! You definitely have gotten your mojo back! Great video and unboxing! 🥰🌱🌿
I like that you put the botanical names of each plant on the screen. It helps a lot especially for me as English is my second language.
I just recently discovered your channel and am so happy I did. You make me smile, keep doing what you do - it's fantastic. BTW, as soon as it warms up just a little, I will be going to Steves leaves and buying a Geogenanthus poeppigii and naming him Nick! 😉
Hello! Fellow Philly plant person! I’m so glad to have found your channel!! Subscribed!!!
Always enjoy your enthusiasm for plants!

The 6th year in a row!? I'd love to see a "where are they now" Steve's Leaves video!
This has to be my favorite unboxing! You need an overhead camera, that would show the plants better.
Just used your code! Thank you so much.
Nick, I just love your enthusiasm and honesty! I really enjoy watching your videos and have recommended your channel to my daughter. She loves to watch your videos now too.
They are 100% gorgeous 👍
💚🌵🌱☘️💚
Does Nick not know he's the Fairy Godfather of the Plant Mob? The mob-boss name suits him PERFECTLY! 💚
so beautiful so healthy thank you for sharing so inspiring😊🥰😍
Thank you for sharing! And for a great reminder about how to create humidity for our plants.
Love Muffin cameos 😂
Nick, please please do a care video for your lovely apoballis. I have a baby, and I'd love some tips on how best to care for it. Yours is simply divine!! 😍

Lovely Phil, it’s always exciting watching your plants unboxing videos!
Lmaooo. You absolutely do NOT give us Mafia vibes, Nick.🤣🤣🤣I'm loving the geogenanthus poeppigii. Definitely going to look into that one.🪴

I just ordered from them last week, waiting patiently to get them!!
Wow love the leaves on most of the plants , I have to order a pink splash.
That Geogenanthus is a real stunner. Just checked out the care requirements and my heart sank 😭
Geogenanthus is a cool species . They do prefer humidity but once you have had them for awhile they acclimate to their space pretty easily and are a bit more tolerant.
Great Video.
Thank you 😍
What a Box!!! How exciting!

I have a geoganashis (spell?) and doesn't like full light at all.
TFS Nick 🌸🌵🌱
Hi, Muffin!! ❤️
Awww muffin!!! Love her!!
lol i love your observance of the amplissimum silver . all beautiful but that and the pink splash and the geoganthanus i want.
I had three varieties of begonia die off over a years period of time after I moved. Such a bummer! Maybe ill try again someday haha
I'm totally jonesing for some plant mail but it's still too cold / risky here. But your unboxing helps pass the time! I love Steve's Leaves.
I got the philodendron❤..and the pink splash
Amplissimum grows very fast! it needs a pole to climb.
Love it! Can you tell me how your geogenanthus poeppigii plant is doing & what your plant care process is for it?
If you're still wondering, blanda means tender, soft or smooth.
"It's giving salad fingers and the rusty spoon" a man of culture I see
We love a Muffin cameo!!!
Salad fingers and the rusty spoons 😂❤
I think that geogananthis gets called the "seersucker" plant which I love!
Awesome haul😍
I love that Geoganthus it's been on my wishlist I wonder if I'd kill it though. The begonia is also amazing but I'd definitely kill that I'm horrible with begonia.
Muffin is gorgeous!

I got spider mites from them in a gloriosum but I handled it and am glad I have it in my collection
Love that begonia! I keep trying begonias. And I keep failing. Gonna stick to my Hoyas.
Love your channel! I Hope I’m wrong but I thought I saw a web on your begonia paulensis in the close up shot. Just a thought and hoping Im wrong.Glad to see you doing well!
All I can say is wow!
My local plant shop got some Pink Splash last week-it’s sickening! And I don’t like pink variegation, but that syngonium is gorgeous! The leaf shape definitely reminds of a mature syngonium that I owned years ago.
Im on a no buy till spring 😂 but Many of my list plants are from Steves Leaves.
Just treated myself to a lovely Hoya Mathilda using your link ❤ sorry I couldn’t purchase more plants haha
"Blanda", from Latin, means something that's delicate, soft, charming, dainty.
I want all the plants! Allllll theeee plaaaants fooor meeee! 😂
I think I'm ordering the Geogenanthus!!!!
