Amazing ability to explain the moves, thank you GingerGM for your videos ! I especially love the long games because you have the time to show all you want to show
thank you GingerGM before I using a Colle System thru my opening repertoire. Now I using a transposition opening, The Jobava London System is very effective against a strong player.
I like the concept man. You give lots of value for free and give even more value in return for support (=buying a dvd). Much appreciated. All best to you and your work!
Interestingly, Stockfish on Lichess calls the position after 8. e3 as -0.6 (I know this is 2 years later). Still I am looking forward to playing this. Also per the engine, Black's big mistake was Nf5, then it's all winning for White
nice video, I recommend your London and jobava videos really helping my success rate with white. I had a nice win against a much stronger player with that h4 0-0 h5 Nxh5 Rxh5 jobava line. and managed a win with white against a 450 stronger player in another line you showed on your latest chessbase London video that was me ecf 144 versus a 201 rating. I like to think I played my part too :)
Amazing content Simon, thank you.👍 Sometimes you play the Pirc, I would love to see a more longer game of you, with the Pirc and if possible, a video on it. I would certainly buy it.💸💸💸 Keep it up, all the best. 💪
Chessable really sticking it to us stateside. Different price (nor 50% off) for us heathens. Still bought it, but hope you are getting a different point participation for purchases in the US! For the curious: $130.00 full price, $70 discounted.
28:26 wasn't Qxc4 winning on the spot? The more I look at it I cant find any counterplay. (update: ok, i did put it in engine and turns out black ends with a strong passed pawn...)
It's possible but in general black is worse, white can try something like Rd7xd5, or pushing the a pawn to tie up some black pieces, and white's bishop keeps constant threats against black's king
I got the short and sweet but I also went for the 50% off deal. Never hurts to give a little support for a nice guy and a great instructor
Your longplay games are by far my favorite, Simon! Thanks for doing two in a row -- Cheers!
Long play format is the best educational format, thanks Simon 👍👍👍

Bishop? That was at least an ARCHBISHOP right there!

Everybody loves Jobava.
This seems to work well against the Kings Indian defence.
23:45 after Rb6, Bc7 might also be decent
Let's not CRY over the spilled milk .. is the saying. (In my country ... lol.)
23:30 If he played Rb8, couldn't you fork him with Bc7 and win a rook? @GingerGM
Clearly outperforming Stockfish on London system opening knowledge!
computer best lines are not necessarily best lines for humans.
Harry again!!!!!!!
When are the blitz video coming
GingerGM streams every day (!!)
Well, that's what he said anyway. It was good while it lasted!
Something wrong with your link to order your video
its $129 now :) it went up 30% ?
At 24:00 if Rb8, then Bc7!
Checking in, 2024🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Yo' mama Jobava!
How do you mark the board on chess.com?
Come on - you have to go as a Viking!
Play as a massive pumpkin, orange face, little green hat.
Lovely work paralysing black's pieces in this game 👍
30:48 Isn't ...Ne7 possible here? If Rb8 then he can block with ...Nc8 or ...Rc8, right?

bobby fischer costume

Something Spicy.... Maybe dress up like a chili pepper (Throwback to the Spicy Chess days)
Hi
You can dress like your ginger karateka avatar
Gotta love Simon promoting the free option more than the paid one. Reverse psycology????
