In showing off stereo, i really wish there was less separation in the instruments.. I kinda feel like my ears are plugged like going down into a valley.. But super cool stuff!
The preamp doesn't have an integrated mixer, but the stereo separation can be managed pretty easily at the actual amplification stage.
For this recording we obviously left the channels completely separated for effect.

A custom lid for the Plexilaser acrylic case is being designed to accommodate the Triode64. More to come on that soon.

And how does it sound without the preamp?
You can find other examples of the same SID track on TH-cam, being played through a more standard C64 setup.
We think you'll agree that the tubes are really helping to fill out those low frequencies, while making the mids feel far more present and those higher frequencies become much more lush and crisp with lots of nuanced detail.
