10:00 When you summon starliege photon blast dragon it automatically summons galaxy eye photon dragon without having to detaching a material. You only use it material to revive galaxy photon dragon from the graveyard or banish zone

with galaxy expedition you can special summon galaxy soldier, activate its effect get a photon vanisher, special summon it and get a glaxy-eyes photon dragon on the hand that can be special summoned.
doing it this way you make some graveyard for future plays and if you have an extender you could end with and Infinity on the board

Def earned my sub but I'd love for you to incorporate more talk of playing around disruptions. Ppl may think a deck is viable without knowing what exactly will hurt their deck. Infinity is priority for me because of that case.

I'm surprised you don't run Photon Stream of Destruction or Tachyon Chaos Hole in this deck. PSD is a free banish if you have a Galaxy-Eyes, and Tachyon Chaos Hole is a nuke that banishes your opponent's field, and can banish itself from GY to get back a Galaxy-Eyes from the GY. Well worth running at least one of each.
I've loved Galaxy-Eyes for ages, and even though I've stayed away from the newer cards out of intimidation from Links, this and the deck profile you made for this deck have helped me step back into the game and be able to use my favorite monsters in the best way I can :)
Links are nothing now with the current master rule, it feels like classic yugioh again
@@shadowbane01 its moreso the field change and how other extra deck cards changed with links when they first came out that deterred me, but glad to know the game is more like it used to be ^w^
Hands down the Galaxy / Photon is my favourite Xzy Deck.
if youre going into solflare on that first test hand why not just trade in the knight and add it back from solflare's effect rather than summon solflare and not use its main effect to bring back from grave
Because the way he did it had the least spell and effect activations. Which decreases opportunities for disruption or negation. Same board, less effects.
ended up deciding i didnt want to play this deck after all but nevertheless liking the video because thank u; it explains how the deck plays and as a new player that always is hard to understand (when reading huge texts of wall). Your videos are appreciated

U could keep full armour and cipher blade if u activate cipher dragons effect take control of that monster the xyz on top of that controlled monster a cipher blade and use the original cipher blade to xyz into a full armour
8:25 why didn't you use trade in before Sol flare? Couldn't you have used it's upon summon effect since you would have had photon dragon in the grave?
Could have done trade-in, draw 2. then photon sanctuary to solflare and then bring back galaxy knight to your hand because of solflare and then expedition. Now you have +2 in your hand

FYI I'm pretty sure you can slap full armour photon onto the monster you steal from your opponents side of the field with cipher instead of cipher itself.
I highly recommend running Pot of Prosperity in this deck if you can afford it.
Its much better than Desires and Trade-in. Boosts the consistency by alot because you get to add whatever piece you want or miss instead of just 2 random draws that may not get you anywhere. The pot card is always live while Trade-in sometimes isn't. If you pair this with Gamma, you can protect some cards that activate in your hand, like Galaxy Brave, Galaxy Soldier and ROTA and the Pot Card. If Gamma resolves, you have a Union Carrier and a Galaxy solar flare (cause driver is above 2k). You can also make Omega (a level 8) to rip another card out of their hand and make the field free for some of your photons (like trasher) and have a higher grind-game. At worst gamma is a discard fodder for galaxy soldier and same for Driver. You can also play Lambda.
Ah yes, my favorite deck, here is a funny combo: Union carrier doesn't stop you from normal summoning or using the monster sent effect, so you if you opened orbital in your hand you can use union carrier to equip Galaxy Knight to a monster and link up the monster and something into the sol flare to recycle knight back to ns it and use it effect for a free rank 8 :)
Ppl forget to use GPD's effect to otk. Banishing to open the board is crazy clutch ppl don't expect it. I run return of dragon lord for protection. It rarely bricks due to cipher blade detaching and solflare discards
3:15 you could use trade in to bring knight back from grave with solflares eff.. its free xd
u had soldier and reborn in hand so you could had use reborn to bring afterglow back from grave after you use its effekt on fellgrand and you have a free rank 8... :P if you went for union carrier i wouldnt use trade in i think
If you overlay galaxy eyes photon and after glow for a Number 62 Galaxy Eyes Prime Photon Dragon and detach afterglow, then your prime photon gets to 11200 Atk which is lethal over any 3000 Atk monster.
then you also get a free galaxy eyes photon dragon from deck if they stopped the attack somehow :D, not to mention any other number cards gets a perma attack boost
I see one problem: What if one was destroyed? If one of those 4 card materialised dragons were destroyed, 4 cards sent to GY, bam, how do we make them come back?

@@MUSHROOMHEADDDDDDD well we just got afterglow who is probably the best single support card since this decks debut barring number 90 so it’ll be a while but we might get some nice legacy support soon :)
im also confused...photon sanctuary says u can't summon any more monsters after using tht card ..how can he continue to summon?
