I am just starting my journey into drawing, and I want to keep a sketchbook, but it's really intimidating, and I think a lot of what you said is helping me think about how it's not that serious. Gotta love perfectionism lol

Blind contour, from what I was taught, is to help with not only hand eye coordination, but it is also an excellent exercise for you as an artist to, stop looking at your work so much, to keep you from getting caught up on the page, when you should be focusing on your subject. Subject focus is key with figure drawings which is why MOST blind contour suggestions are bust and still life and the like.

I am definately going to try some of these out, especially the negative space and shading ones bc I have never done that before!!

I also recently bought some adorable stickers from this company called "Sugar and Sloth" their art is so cute and also pretty funny (if anyone want to look it up be warned there are swears in some of the stuff) so I might put some of those in too!
