Scott Drake makes a side skirt race inspired kit that includes the back bumper piece as well for $274. It attaches to the stock GT piece. It also gives nice width
before you pointed it out I didn't think it needed anything but after seeing 500 pieces on you can really appreciate the improvement. Super clean, OEM looks and more aggressive.
We put the gt 500 side skirts on our Mach 1 a month ago. Because we were getting stone chips on the quarter panel in front of the rear tire. We also put the rock blocker foam pieces on too. Plus it does look kick ass on it.
Absolutely gorgeous car. I have a ‘16 GT350 myself and one thing I strongly recommend is the JLT Performance Rock Blocker kit. The skirts are absolutely notorious for just piling up rocks and sand and funneling it towards the paint due to the extra aero fin on the side knocking it all back inward towards the car. Super cheap, looks clean and for 2 pieces of foam you’d be surprised how well they fit. Have done a few pulls in the car and gotten it up to speeds where you’d think they just fly out of place but they’re holding their own haha. Hands down one of the best things I’ve done for my car. Best of luck the car. Got a chance to see one in person myself today and my god did Ford do a good job with the Mach’s. Great video as well!
I have had these parts sat in the garage for sometime thinking shall I shan't I put them on and after seeing this the car will get done next week looks great, I only have the GT. For the people knocking the install, it is each to their own with this you cannot please everyone all the time. Keep going the direction you are and make the car your individual car which we all want to do in some way. The ideas that you have are great for us all as we can see them fitted before we buy, some of your ideas I like some I do not (not a fan of carbon) but keep going.
I just wish the extensions were 'solid' like the ZL-1 version - as they seem a bit flimsy. I may get those because of the mud flap to use with the Vicrez skirts I bought.
Super clean factory badass look. Love how it ties together the front and back look plus the extra functionality makes it all so perfect. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing God’s word as well. Really makes my day.
Looks great. Now I suggest JLT rock blockers and I did notice there looks like a manufacturing defect on the extension part that sticks out. I wonder if they are like that on all of them, and if so, the company should fix the molding or production process to eliminate this what looks like a noticeable seem.
Super cool look! Now how long do we have to wait for fog lights that are designed to fit the exact contor of the fog light housing on our Mach 1. I refuse to use round fog lights.
Thumbs up, as usual. It's so impressive how the after market is responding to Mustangs in general and the Mach 1 in particular. I can so imagine those keeping the cones away from the door panels, when you're doing slaloms.
Hey man, reaching out to you on how to install my wheel molding on the front of my Mach 1. Do you got a video on how to install them? Thanks in advance. I live here in Clarksville tn as well .
Great addition to your beautiful Mach 1. I'm really enjoying watching and hearing how you've improved performance under the hood and adding the bolt on aero side skirts in this video. Personally, I feel the Mach 1 is one of the best overall Mustangs Ford has ever built. Also, thank for the Bible scripture. It seems to have been forgotten in our country.

@@Dude-tb8ry the Mach 1 is an extremely beautiful Mustang, but its not a GT500 in looks or performance. Considering base models. An ordered base GT500 has an MSRP of $76,555 with an ordered base Mach 1 manual has an MSRP of $55,000. If you consider just the difference in engines costs. The GT500 crate motor costs $27, 295 while the fantastic Gen 3, 460 horsepower Coyote crate motor costs $9975.00. This is only one of many differences between these Mustangs. Personally for daily use and my budget, I would purchase the Mach 1. Add a few bolt on parts and enjoy driving it every day. The GT500 is extremely special and for many owners, it's complete and ready for the streets, dragstrip or track. If I owned one. It would stay the way I purchased it. Zander is tastefully building his Mach 1 while still maintaining its stock appearance. From the base prices, he had $21,000 to spend before reaching the cost of a base GT500. If you want a GT500 look and performance. Purchase a GT500. If you want a special Mustang that looks fantastic while still having close to 500 horsepower with a manual transmission. Then purchase the Mach 1. There's not a bad choice. It all depends on your budget. Zander. The Mach 1 includes Ford's performance school. Wondering if you're going. If allowed by Ford. It should make for some great video content.
