Yeah, Stream of Passion is awesome. Being born in the Netherlands I've had a lot of oppertunities to see them live. And yeah, they do sort of sound link them.

The vocal line pulls me right aside Edenbrigde, and well, I'm not totally convinced the arrangement, I can't deny she has an elegant colorature and matches perfect the "idea" or the concept, you can work more on this good luck!, above the instrumental arrangements are very good, so melodic, heavy, it rocks!!

It comes from a country of amazing classical composers, such as Dmitri Shostakovitch, whose symphony number 7 was premiered during the siege to Leningrad, the musicians hungry to the point of near starvation. Much of which you can see in this band, echoes of classical music.

I agree & I'm an American, so much of it is utter crap anymore. This genre of music has finally given me something else to listen to besides my old "classic rock", 80's & 90's stuff (when American music really started to go down the toilet).

Oh no. I've been into Northern European Metal for about 14 years. I love the Northern sound i.e Swedish Melodic Death Metal, several bands from Finland like To/Die/For, Sentenced, Children of Bodom, Nightwish. All great bands.

We all know what it's like to click on a link that randomly shows up and it's blah blah blah - same old stuff etc. Good stuff, but the same stuff, different names and faces. This tune here literally jumps off my Android and demands my attention. I downloaded the lyrics also. I'm not sure who in this band composed these chord changes or who wrote the lyrics, but thankyou for something different for a change to listen to here in NYS, USA.

this is the typical dozen music and film music. It is why so many imitation Nightwish when one is enough.
When Nightwish are only bringing out new albums once every 5 years now, one ISN'T enough. Just remember, as "UNIQUE" as Nightwish sounded when they first started they had their own musical idols they wanted to imitate (and if you think Nightwish were the FIRST to mix classical/operatic vocals with heavier music then you've clearly never heard of Andrew Lloyd Webber. So by YOUR standards, Nightwish shouldn't exist.
