Lynyrd has some good skills. But that guitarist. Wow! "Lord help me, I can't chanyanyanyanyanyange. Won't you fly-i Freebird?" Then, the rocking out comes. If only I could do this song perfectly. And I could. If my arms didn't get tired lol
when Guitar Hero games were awesome, in those times the track selection of rock music was spot on. Activision killed the franchise cause all those damn versions with pop music included ughhhh, it didn't die cause they say it was a gimmick Activision just killed the franchise.
I completely agree with you on that, that's why their company name should be changed to Activi$ion, that's what they care about is money. They screwed us over with the GHTV setlist having the really kickass songs, but we have to pay something in order to play them, if they we're smart they should've kept how it was in the past, pay for the song at a cheap price and play it as many times as you wish as long as you have it. It's not a fantastic experience having to suck their groin in order to play them.

I remember I was going on a GH2 campaign binge back in the day (Because I didn't know there was such thing as cheats to get all of the tracks). I wasn't that good, so a few songs were very frustrating to complete. I started the "encore song," without realizing that it was actually free bird, so I expected it to be impossible for me to complete, like a fast, heavy metal shredding track, because of the amazing intro cutscene to the encore. But when the first chord played, I realized what it was, and i had to hold back the tears, man. It was beautiful. Still amazing to watch today. Brings back the memories.
I, for one, think you did excellent on this one, man. And may I say, is that, that is an awesome shirt you've got on. All I have at home is a Nirvana shirt, a Metallica shirt, and a RHCP shirt.

+Tanner Braungardt What system? If you're missing Hammer Ons, I would recommend you turn on hyperspeed because it allows you to be more precise. You have to be very precise with Hammer Ons in this game compared to others, like GH3.

I swear to fucking god there was an extra bit of guitar playing to the end of Free Bird. I don't know if it's only in the original recording, but I remember playing Free Bird and it had a lot more to the ending than just the cascade of notes.
Apparently the longer version was actually the uncut studio recording of "Free Bird", and it's in the album _Skynard's Innards_. You can find it on TH-cam, but the audio was pitched up by a semitone to keep any copyright violations from taking it down.

Agreed, except I think Warriors of Rock was great due to a decent setlist, plus the Megadeth songs we're a great addition to them.
