That retaining wall is what you need on the hill on the riverside at LHL! And you could do it by stacking concrete bags and wet them! And that may help with the erosion of the hill and give you the chance to plant plants and give the time to take root!

Jami, 50 years ago, that was not there. My maternal grandfather was from Cow Pens, SC and there used to some family in Greenville and in Spartanburg. OMG . I live right there in Greenville S.C. Isn't our downtown just beautiful. Are you in our Falls Park? My daughter got engaged on the expansion bridge going over the Falls. I absolutely love Greenville . I did enjoy more when I was younger. ::: Greenville ranked fourth out of 150 major U.S. cities, which the publication evaluates based on its desirability, job market and quality of life. This is Greenville's debut in a Top 10 spot for best places to live, and the only city from South Carolina to attain this accolade in 2024.
Thanks for the tour! The waterfall was a special treat. Like you, water soothes my soul. I can sit and listen to rushing water for hours. It gives me peace. As a Florida gal, I've been surrounded by water all my life. I could never be happy, and live someplace without it. Next time I'm in SC, I'll try to visit that special park. I am so glad you discovered Falls Park! I live in Greenwood, SC, about 55 miles from Greenville, and spend a lot of time in Greenville. It has been hot and humid as heck the last few weeks, and this area has been under a heat advisory. I am glad you happened to visit on the couple of days when the humidity was lower, and we have had a little break from the extreme heat. Our closest news station is in Greenville, and they just said that the next week is going to be extremely hot and humid again, so you came at the perfect time. Greenville is beautiful! Some of my friends have played at The Lazy Goat. They have live, local music. The Reedy and Saluda rivers are important rivers in our area. The Saluda River runs into Lake Greenwood here where I live, and the town of Saluda, SC, is about 30 miles east of here. There is also a Saluda, NC. I am a phone volunteer for Speak for Animals in Greenville. We provide low cost and no cost spay/neuter vouchers and also have a fund to help people that have emergency situations with their pets and can't afford to take them to the vet for help. We also do free spay mania events in the lower income areas in Greenville. I also do a lot of volunteer animal transports for rescue organizations and my local animal shelter, and a lot of my transport legs are in Greenville. I transport as far north as Charlotte, NC, and down to Commerce, GA and Augusta, GA and way down to the Charleston and Mount Pleasant, SC areas on the coast of SC. I transport on the weekends and can't wait until I can retire and do it during the week, also! I transport dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, quail, baby goats and ducks. Chickens are next. 😊 I transport for a local farm animal sanctuary in Hodges, SC, too, called Frog Song Farm Animal Sanctuary, and it is beautiful! They do great work to give rescued farm animals and dogs a wonderful life! The husband and wife run the whole thing by themselves with no paid help, and I am amazed at it when I drive down into the farm. It reminds me of the great things that you and Lester do! I am glad you enjoyed your trip and hope you are having a safe flight home today! I love flying out of the GSP airport! It is so small and easy to get around compared to the big airports, and the parking garage right there near the terminals is so convenient!
Good morning Jami. Watched replay at 6:35 am. Thought I was early enough to catch you live but obviously not. This path/park is so beautiful and it would give great motivation to get people out and about walking. Those are Canadian Geese and they don't have babies near them by the looks of it, if/when they do they can get very protective of them and chase you, hiss, pluck you for sure. I love the park in Augusta! My department at work came to Augusta in June for a one day retreat and took the boat ride down the river, and our captain was pointing out everything on the SC and GA sides of the river. We came from SC and my boss lives in Augusta. My daughter and her fiance rented a houseboat down there last winter.

Everybody in NC and SC laughing at Jami "and there's no bugs". You just lucked into the 2 times of day when the mosquitoes land for refueling, and you missed the heat of the day when we are currently being plagued with June bugs. But bugs not withstanding, the Carolinas are some of God's best work😊

LOL! 😂 I kept asking him what the name of the Scotland page he was talking about and got gifts from I even wrote it all in capital letters and it looked like he was looking at the comments he only seen to see the compliments about his baby blue shirt and he got another one. Good morning Jami. Sorry I missed the live. I am a waterfall freak and here in Ohio we have a site on Facebook on where to find the waterfalls. I am on a mission to see them all. I haven’t counted the list. Like you, I love the sound of water and the f 14:39of water. It’s my happy place. Thank you for taking us along this morning. You are very near where I live. Greenville is such a beautiful place to visit. Prisma is located there. Our doctors are part of that system we are in. We are in Columbia- just 100 miles down the road. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Much ❤️❤️
It's very beautiful there but I bet you will be glad to get home and I had to leave for a minute's to go watch Lester do gifts and goodies. LOL! 😂 I kept asking him what the name of the Scotland page he was talking about and got gifts from I even wrote it all in capital letters and it looked like he was looking at the comments he only seen to see the compliments about his baby blue shirt and he got another one. LOL! it kind of made me feel some way cuz, you no usually he notices all capital letters comments and I even tried saying he really looks sexy in that blue shirt but it didn't help😂😂😂😂😂 gotta love him right! ❤ Love you both, and I can't wait to see you on the next video.❤❤❤❤
