Love the balance you've got going on! It's really inspiring to see how you're pursuing your project idea alongside your full-time job. Can't wait to see how your MVP turns out!
In my experience, the hardest part of doing your own side projects is to stay motivated. After a work day and then start doing your own thing is hard. But, what helps me is to visualize your final goal or product and seeing the excitement of just "kicking competition". Being able to get very early feedback from potential users is also super motivating. At the end, it's all about people on what you create. Get that feedback, get some loyal users who can help you stay motivated and you will be able to achieve your goal. Stay close to your vision.
Love the video and looking forward for more! Regarding your JIRA tickets: it‘s best to have a finished ticket as a reference. This allows everyone to compare any new ticket to the reference-ticket and estimate how much time/complexity the new story/task might take. Hope this helps you in any way :)
I can assure you that your idea has already been "thought of," analyzed, and likely implemented by someone else. Remember - an idea is nothing; execution is everything... Anyway, I wish you the best of luck with your project!
This is true, and very few apps have global reach anyway. She mentioned a market for tradespeople. That exists in the UK with Taskrabbit. But it clearly hasn’t stopped those Czech entrepreneurs, because it likely doesn’t exist in the Czech Republic.
one hundred % agree and can relate on the JIRA estimates. I almost always end up underestimating my task. Playwright's ecosystem sucks tbh. Supabase is great btw, love their product.
Hey you are doing a great job width both working and making youtube i really hope you will get partner soon i really like to follow your progress here on youtube i hope you had a really nice Chrismas holyday have a nice weekend
I don't think you need to worry about keeping your ideas that much of a secret. The idea is the easy part, the hard part is execution and finding users. In any case, best of luck with your project! 😊
What brand chocolate chips do you find in Sweden... and how do they compare to Nestle? Hmmmm... Nestle is Swiss... is there competition between Swedish vs Swiss Choc Chips?
your take on sharing ideas is 100% wrong I was there too but build in public twitter and Paul Graham's idea blog is a good starting point to learn that ideas are kind worthless. btw are you using AI in your workflow and if yes how, would love to learn about how AI is doing in EU lol heard they don't like it very much -- old people
Good luck with your project also I hope you stay consistent not motivated, and no matter what you do not stop documenting your journey.

I would do the 3 days for the ticket, then create follow up tickets for additional work discovered during those 3 days. 😅
