Eagle rock boat launch area is a hot spot across the river. U couldn’t have picked a better spot. I ended up getting a 21 lbs silver in sept 18’. 3rd week of sept. Good times.

Yeah, it was a good spot. That is a big silver. I hope we catch some giants like that next year when we go back.

Great vid. Mind me asking what size spinner you were using? And what time of year this was?

Heck yeah brother! Ice down the beers and fire up the grill. Looks like a slow start but a power finish. Almost had to wipe some slobber off my phone looking at that table of filets👍🇺🇸

It’s always a good time when the fishing is good.

We were using spinners and they were hitting on pretty much every color.

Take and can those pinks up and they are tasty. Not as good on grill as others.

I cooked a pink and silver in the oven the other night and they both taste the same to me. We don’t do any canning, but we may try to smoke some.

Yeah don't let any tell you they don't taste good! Just not as good as some of the others. We can all the pinks, but have cooked them up too.

I think we caught them early in the season, they aren’t as hard as the silvers, but definitely not soft. Cooked them in the oven and they have been awesome.

I loved the video, I bet with that fresh air you guys slept like babies🐻🐟 I thought snagging was illegal in Alaska?

We actually slept like comatose babies. Tia slept for the first few days it seemed like. Snagging is only illegal is designated areas. No clear water snagging areas.

Riding dirty dash cam Edmonton snagging is illegal in the entirety of Alaska except the ocean areas around Seward and brackish zones. If they would have hooked these fish anywhere but the mouth doing the flossing technique they would have to release them regardless
