Lovely video of this fav small town where we attended high school. It’s hard to believe that the Grand River and adjoining Nith River at that low level could rise significantly during spring snow and ice thaw and flood the downtown area.
Thankfully the building of berms along the Nith and Lion’s Park plus better monitoring of the Grand’s system has controlled water levels in more recent years. Appreciate this memorable video. Cheers! 🌸🌺🌺🌸
