I'm just trying to find something for my revo. I'm torn between badlands, mashers, or trenchers. I wanted something that will hook up well on all conditions but mostly grass.
Absimma AT1BL is my Truggy, used on tarmac streets and grass mostly, currently the rears are pretty worn and glued to the wheels, I believe the centre hub is 12mm its a 1/10 scale vehicle anyone with ideas what tired to put on it as to replace,
What rim and tires would you recommend on my Traxxas Slash 4x4 vxl. Currently looking at the belted pro-line trenchers 2.8 any suggestions? Thx for the vids
@@Rcstreetshop thx. Just recently put sway arms on to help with roll overs especially with running 3s. This will help with that as well? And do you have a vid on slash upgrades or 17mm upgrade
What is a good tire for my kids to use on their traxxas slash 2wd. They play on some dirt but a minority of their time if spent doing skid turns on the street. They have the standard traxxas slash tire but the knobs hook in the street and the truck flip up ALOT. would love you suggestions.
There is no universal tire for both street and dirt. For street you need slick street tire for dirt you need knobs for grip. Maybe try lowering your suspension first or even switching to LCG chassis.
Foam is popular option (or should I say the only option) if you go above 70Mph...as it would not balloon as rubber tires...Basically foam gives more grip on certain surfaces, but it also accumulates dirt as a magnet....and sometimes instead of providing more grip it does the opposite
What type of tyres come on a WLTOYS 124018/124019? Looks like tyres for sand? Or will they do well in grass too,m I'm wanting tyres that go on grass ie. Knobbie tyre.
I wish proline had a slick tire for 1/10 scale cars. I’ve been looking everywhere and I haven’t found a high quality tire for 1/10 cars. I just want a slick tire that’s 2.5” in height and fit a 1.9” rim
Which primes would you recommend for a 2wd brushless rustler? I like the smaller 2.2 wheels so I'm torn between the rear buggy tires or the 2.2 truck tires. I mainly like speed runs and sliding
Buggy tires/wheels generally speaking are better tires then 2.2 truck tires. You should check offset and hub though, as most buggy tires are on 17mm hub.
Thanks for the reply I planned on getting 2.2 rpm revolver rims that are made for the front of the rustler on both axles since I put the wide rpm arms on the front to run the same offset all around
It depends, but normally we recommend to avoid extreme compounds (ex. super soft, super hard etc) unless you know what you are doing. Clay would probably fit you better, but again generally speaking it is hard/impossible to suggest over the internet, since there are a lot variables.
i have a 2wd brushed traxxas stampede which i use off road (dirt, rocks, thin layers of sand, grass, etc.) any suggestions for the front and back wheels + tires?
RC Street Shop I honestly don't know the scale or shaft/hub configuration. I'm pretty new to rc and there is no literature on the car. I have a traxxas raptor and the lug nut tool fits the nuts on the car rims but that's where it ends. the car has shafts only with no bearings on front and rear has bearings inside the axle from what I get out if it
It depends on the carpet and tire manufacturer...ex. with Proline it is going to be Prism or Pyramid. You need to check with your local track they will let you know what works the best
umm im pretty sure its not a smart idea to run 4 pattle tires on any 4x4....lets really think about...because im thinking were missing something here...oh yeah STEERING...
Literally the whole point of 4x4 is steering, a typical truck drivetrain only drives the rear set or push where the "turning front" have no grip by making them drive allows them to grip and pull out in a direction. Paddles help this pulling out of sand in that direction.
Paddles (sand set-up) are good for snow to. You can also run skis in front of a 2wd car.
Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for the info. This should help out rc newbs
You guys are so knowledgeable thanks

Mostly grass use the Badlands.
Nice job helping out newbs
Thanks for your feedback Dean! Glad you liked it!
Best tires for slash vxl 2wd on road running 3s lipo

Most 1/10 scale vehicles come with 12mm hubs. Try stock Traxxas, as they fit dirt/asphalt applications pretty good.
Is there a measurement device you can buy for any RC tire
What rim and tires would you recommend on my Traxxas Slash 4x4 vxl. Currently looking at the belted pro-line trenchers 2.8 any suggestions? Thx for the vids
For ultimate performance we recommend switching to 17mm hub and then go with 1/8 buggy style tires+rims.

What about foam tires? What are the benefits and drawbacks on foam tires compared to rubber tires. I'm thinking on putting foam tires on my 4Tec

RC Street Shop oh okay. Thanks
Anytime!👍

You need to upgrade to 17mm wheel hub

Why did proline stop making the road rage for 1/8th scale buggy. My Typhon is eating though bandito every r runs
I need road tires (not anaconda 2.2) for Traxxas bandit vxl
Pro-Line makes pretty good asphalt tires
RC Street Shop, cool. But I was looking for street tires that would fit AKA rims, I if so could you send me a link
Where can I find rock crawler tyres for a 33mm wheel prefer them to be 120mm diameter outer ?

I just bought a shinsei 57 chevy from the late 80s and the tires have flat spots in them. I'm lookin for replacements but don't know where to start

Without knowing what your car is, it is hard to tell what tires does it have.
Have tried cheap soft or hard tires from ebay? They cost around 6-7$ I wonder if it's a waste of money...
You never know before you try, but with those, usually you get what you pay for...as a shop we advocate quality tires
How about some tires for grass
ProLine Badlands
I would use paddle tires for grass.
I would use short knob or a spiky tire. Because short, mowed grass, can be short and on hard to medium hard dirt.
I need a pair of FRONT and BACK tires for grass AND asphalt.
Gives us a call 562-425-900, Roger will get you something cool!
Will the Badland tires tires work on the Rampage XT, I am a noob to the RC world.
XT has a special hub, so complete setup wouldn't work (tire+rim).
What are good tires for a slash 2wd for carpet

Could you suggest a 1.9 tires for the traxxas trx4 kit..For crawling and trailing any recommendations.
I always thought a long knob was a good thing.
More grip is definitely a good thing...however it depends, because sometimes you want it to slip just a bit.
So many sexual puns can be created here at a heart beat

sotf vs hard tires, whats the diference in performance?
Same as in real life, More Grip vs Less Grip
how much do they cost

whats the best tyre for a traxxas rustler 1/10 i use it on street and soft sand and hard dirt and grass
CS RAAW i would use 3.8 trenchers
3.8!?!, even the 2.8 trenchers are too heavy for the rustler's transmittion
wath are the best tires for the traxxas summit 1/10
Depends on where you are going to drive it.
