In no way shape or form would this be his reaction today. For one, grandpa toned way down as the years passed. For two, Mike was much younger here AND lived at home still. Grandpa's biggest issue was with allowing Bridgette to move in. Mike and Bridgette own their own home now and wouldn't need to rely on grandpa for anything. Grandpa also developed love for Bridgette over the years.
