I've been playing DDR for a grand total of (as of today's date, once or twice a week for the last) three months, and I can already tell you this is arguably one of, if not my favorite song to play out of the entire DDR ("DDR-A", I think the newer machines are called? Idk) library. Why, you ask? Listen to the lyrical flow in the chorus (?; the first few verses in the beginning; it plays again at the halfway mark, just as the song starts picking up speed). Now, adjusting for tempo, try to rap the chorus to "Crank That" by Soulja Boy. Idk if people have already figured this out or not. I play with people who say they have been playing this game for literal years, and I manage to always get a laugh out of them. 10/10 for laughs; at least 7.6/10 song otherwise, because fuck you, I can't jump as fast as it wants me to.
i only ever got to play on a broken supernova machine when i was maybe 12 6 years ago? until recently getting to play a20. i wish i couldve experienced ddr in the early 2000s 💔 i envy the nostalgia of people in these comments
