Norberto Aníbal "Pappo" Napolitano even had a Power Metal band in the late 1989 called Widow Maker, they played twice in LA USA and twice here in BA Argentina. He almost became the lead guitar for Motorhead in the 70's... BB King was a fan of the way Pappo played the blues and R&B... Pappo was the closest there can be to a guitar god. Pappo had a few bands, some of them are Riff and Pappo's Blues. The last time I saw him live he was doing a tribute to BB King in life with the BB King's drummer Tony Coleman, you can find the recording in TH-cam, the sound is not the best but is OK to hear the magic.

Practically started the hard and heavy scene in here. He played with B.B. King in Madison Square Garden, and of course, with most of Argentina's renowned musicians. BTW, guitar in spanish is Guitarra, with two hard Rs. Glad to see you still are finding new music from our country!

Unfortunately, he left us on March 10, 2005, in a traffic accident, he was on the route driving his motorcycle Harley Davidson that he loved so much, with his son, Luciano, when at some point, both motorcycles rubbed against each other, causing Pappo to lose control of his bike, and die after falling to the pavement and instantly being ran over by a car coming in the opposite direction. This is a real shame.. Long live Pappo, we miss him very much🕊 1950 - 2005❤
