Bill, nice presentation with actual educational value of your fabulous RR. This is Jeff Reynolds who bought your HOn3 452 castoff some 35 years ago when you bailed on HOn3. Of our stable of micromo'd K-27 locos: 452, 453, 455, 461, 462, 463, it's still one of the best runners on Mears' Madness. I'm still plugging away at a slower speed on work on the RGS in HOn3 now in a 30x40 foot, dedicated windowless building. But, be careful what you wish for, as I don't think i will live long enough to finish the whole project. The 280 foot main, Rico through Ridgway to Ouray is mostly in; about 2/3's the scenery; and all 32 bridges have been built and most installed. Regards as always, jefe.
I went skiing in January and drove along this line as well as staying in black hawk I saw all the abandoned tunnels and trestles than ran along the river, i should have filmed when I was there I didn’t take a single picture of video of the two rail musuem in colarado one having the big boy 4005, and the colarado state rail musuem was packed with stuff and they pulled a steamer on the round table and I wa the only one ther. So next time I go up there I’ll be sure to film because this narrow gauge railway looks sick!!!
Wow! I have been struggling with a major component of my small 4x6 layout and the bluff is the answer. I am so glad you built this and that I found it today. Awesome modeling, btw!
Howzit Bill : A Superb Sn3 ( A Perfect Scale ! ) Layout; With The Extensive Backdrops Correctly Overwhelming and Blending In Well With The Detailed Foreground. Thanks For The Presentation. Regards / John ( A Past International 250 cc Twin-Rotax; 6-Geared Kart Competitor ! )
