Getting my Bard Epic alone was one of those moments that I'm really happy I accomplished. I always wanted my Singing Shortsword.... such a cool looking bloom on the weapon with the notes.
Brings back memories. I completed the epic back in the summer of 2000. I think it was right before the release of Luclin.
I started my epic quest back in 2008 then I quit. I came back 3 weeks ago. I leveled up to 65 then I finished my epic solo with a journeyman tank. I soloed trak then phinny. I went to plane of fear and found a dead warrior to loot the item there. I'm still playing and super happy. Currently in veksar till lvl 70

Am doing this quest right now. Hardest part so far was getting Eldrig to spawn. I've since updated his Allakhazam entry on how to do it within 15 minutes. I'm yet to do the dragons - will likely get guildies to assist with that one!
100% Eldrig for EQ live servers. My method was to Highsun mobs until I found one that moved to one of the Eldrig spawn points. Then just camp it. If you got it in 15min you were incredibly lucky. Still took me 7 hours even with two of the spawns locked down.

I remember sweating blood on every trade in because I was so scared that it might be bugged lol. Whole quest took me like 4 months from start to finish, good times.

Worth noting that the drolvarg warlord is often permafarmed for a monk epic piece, and a lot of drolvarg heads rot. If you just hang around you can get one pretty easily.
Edit: I loved the way you added comedy to this btw, the rewind for Trak was great!

new eq player here just got my bard to 25, cant wait to kill a dragon one day!
Mad props! I got most of the way there back in 2000 but quit before getting it. Did kill Vox and Naggy and got the Cloak of Flame from him. Traded it to a tank with a level 60 bard who traded all the best instruments and a lot of plat for it. Game was different back then. I miss it to be sure!

It took me months to "track" down a "living" UDB
Lol getting spicy after fear, took a lvl 85 in there and well most of the zone aggroed me and i died :)
Nice video for sure i made it simple and made myself a short checklist, bit stuck at getting eldrig the old right now, he has not been around and i done some running around killing stuff, but at 85 it is not hard, but ok plat :)
I just did Eldrig on TLP. If you highsun the mobs near OT, Wizard Evac, and near the two Eldrig spawn points you can locate his placeholder! Took me about 10 hours with both placeholders locked down. He's pretty terrible :) I'd suggest using Zam info for this step, or all the steps.
@@michaelpants I did get him after a 12 hour session, had a PH spawn at the southern location and i just kept killing it every 10-11 minutes until Eldrig spawned, was about to give up since it was in the middle of the night, but just one more and there he was. Mostly killed mobs west of the spawn points just about anything really.

DaVinci Resolve, but I find free assets for much of it. I haven't learned to animate well yet.

What is the first song??
The very first song is the EverQuest theme, but I assume you mean the following song. I found it on Mixkit. It's a site with some free stock music, but I'll probably use TH-cam creators tools for that in the future.
I've built a new PC since making this video and lost the song title. Sorry, friend.
