I get a digital tail that transmits when I unkey, yet I have “Tone” turned off. I tried setting APRS to a dedicated frequency since it defaulted to “current channel,” but that didn’t get rid of it. Then I turned APRS completely off to rule it out with no change. Brand new radio. Any ideas?

Go to ID settings turn everything off.
