Your presentations are excellent, well organized and very useful tools to improve my archery skills. I suggest more content about compound bow form and skills along with the use of handheld and index releases. Those additions would make it possible to combine your excellent presentations and presentations skills to those archery skills. Thank you.
Today i also build my own "arrow in the elbow" device. At the beginning i was wondering on how to get a good thickness of without having to go trying out millions of different types of pens or old arrows to find the right one. At the end finally decided to solve the problem by wrapping layers of duck tape around a thin arrow piece (an old broken A/C/E) until i didn't get to a thickness that was reasonable enough without hurting my elbow too much. Don't know if this is the best solution but i will try it and let you know if there i succeeded or it was a stupid idea
I have used the Astra trainer, but I struggle with it, I end up with bruises above my elbow after a session with it. I also use the arrow in the elbow drill, most of the other drills you mentioned are new to me. Thanks for a very informative video👍
Ah, sometimes the force can be a bit much. Sometimes a long sleeve thick shirt can cushion it a bit and maybe make sure the loop isn't too long as that can cause it to have a harsh hit sometimes :)
Hi. I have an issue of premature release. Where my brain just releases the string too early without me being able to control and even reach my anchor point. Could you please help. I'm struggling with this for a long time
I shoot barebow, but instead of the double roll, I anchor count to 3 then after release I count to five before I drop the bow. And the finger drill I do all the time. Some people stare at me when I'm in town and they see me doing that. I need to get a clicker for practice. We aren't allowed to use clicker during competition, but for training it would be a good idea. I need to get me a shot trainer, that sounds like a great training aid. And I'll try the narrow stance, that sounds interesting. If you have any more drills a barebow archer can use, I'm all ears. Thanks for the great video.
@@OnlineArcheryAcademy ,I enjoyed archery as well! I used both long bows and recurves.Hunting was my passion. In my later years I made and used primitive bows. I never could wrap my mind around the bows that had all the bells and whistles on them.

That's a good drill too! Thanks for that :) I'll keep adding more drills :)
Wow. Intro 😃
Thanks! :)
I wish archery would stay simple and traditional. With all the gadgetry one can put on a bow it doesn't make it a very good bow in the field.
But I do love it!
Its like car, someone like the classic one, the other like futuristic one. Choose the one you like, or you can like both of it. It's free 😁
