      Stewy, what tires are you usually using in A31? Like what sizes and pressure? And have you got softer rear springs?

    • @gemizu4874
      @gemizu4874 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ponczak bloke never replied but probably a 7" wide front wheel with some positive offset, tyres are like a 195 or something its skinny for a medium sized car like that, alot of suspension mods to get that much lock and caster though, front tyre pressure would be around standard, rear tyres seem to be wider and would be run at a lower pressure to the fronts, most likely slightly softer springs in the rear, The ackerman angle or something seems off on the leading wheel though idk the suspension geometry setup hes running tbh but its pretty wild

    How the fuck theres all that room in the inner fender for all that angle ?! Please someone answer

    • @gemizu4874

      Small width front wheels and skinny tyres, probably like a 7" wide wheel with some positive offset, and like a 195 or lower tyre, Stewy probably modified the shit out of the front end though he runs crazy lock and caster you can see it binding up at times its abit extreme haha

      @@gemizu4874 have u tried it before? If yes does the 7" 195 tyre have enough grip?

    • @gemizu4874
      @gemizu4874 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sadceffyy No i have not tried that setup on a cefiro it was just a rough guess as to the setup based on what i can see in the video, i dont know the actual wheel and tyre size, but its looks to be a 15 or 16" wheel roughly 7" wide with some positive offset probably +20ish, tyre would be roughly a 195/60 given how it looks in the video, judging from his style and suspension setup it works fine and has grip, it wont have as much front turn in grip as a wider wheel and tyre but you can counter that with throttle and handbrake, you actually want less front tyre grip for drifting to prevent spinning out as easily and to be more consistent and smooth, if the car understeers more during a slide you can hold a larger angle and 4 wheel slide almost to an extent the huge steering and physical angle it can maintain during a drift is a result of the front end setup and stewys driving style, likely a wider wheel/tyre setup on the rear and the rear probably has more grip.
      Also stewy heavily modifies his steering and front suspension geometry to accommodate such a setup i highly doubt the Cefrios front end is standard based off the video, on his old R32 he had an INSANE amount of forward caster but it worked for him and he could run huge angle and self steer as a result.

      @@sadceffyy no worries, also for all the room under the fenders, you can achieve that with a big hammer and something to cut metal haha, some of the clips of this car you can see the inner fender well has been hacked up a fair bit to run that much lock and caster
