I watched the whole video series with great enthusiasm. Although I have been an invasive cardiologist for 15 years, I have taken serious gains from the videos. It should also be appreciated that such extensive and laborious videos are free. But there is a very interesting situation: The ratio of likes for the videos is around 5 percent. The removal of the arterial and venous cannula is done by the surgeons at our institution.

Great point. This would be possible depending on the duration of support. At our institution vascular surgery remove all cannulae when VA-ECMO is no longer needed.
