shorty is aura's nickname given by shalltear. in the last battle aura using her skill to disrupt shalltear movement in a second (the eye in the last scene of battle)

The reason why Aura used that skill was because Ainz hesitated in using the cash shop item to insta cast his super tier magic. Because in his heart, he's killing shalltear without knowing if he can even revive her in the New World. So he hesitated. Shalltear almost landed a hit on Ainz and disrupted the cast. So Aura used that skill to distract Shalltear for a split second.
A little clarification, the eye that distract shalltear at the last moment is aura's skill. Hench shalltear saying shorty and the screen cut to aura.
Basically ains hesitate to cast the spell at the end for a split second, so aura have to help in.
The whispering/blowing thing of aura was shown when she did it to hamusuke to scare it

The breath can give different status effect like fear rage etc
If I remember it right, it was a kind of intimidation skill which attracts aggro.
Basically, if you ever played a RPG or MMO, its a skill that lets you draw aggro to yourself, forcing a NPC or Player to lock on to you instead of anyone else.
Someone has probably explained this already, but there's a main reason why Momonga became the guild leader (IIRC). Naturally, in a guild as big as AOG, some members were closer to some than others, while some members got into conflicts with each other too. TouchMe was the leader for a while, but even he frequently butted heads with Ulbert (Demiurge's creator). Thic caused a conflict of interest when making big decisions for the guild. However, Momonga was in a unique position because he wasnt particularly close with a single friend group, but he also didn't have bad blood with anyone either. And so, he was the perfect neutral party to resolve conflicts and everyone trusted him to make fair decisions for the guild.
And we come to the end of the season. Congrats friends!
As I mentioned in the previous comment, Ainz's entire battle was based on the strategy of killing Shalltear twice, because she had a resurrection item. Furthermore, he had to make her recklessly spend all those unique “Skills” that could have saved her if she had saved them until the end. Before the climax of the battle Ainz only has enough magic left to cast 3 or maybe 4 spells and so Shalltear thought that she had already won, but they quickly changed things to something to do with the Ygddrassil game.
When one created a character and then wanted to change it, he could only lose several battles and levels to rebuild the parts he wanted or directly create a new account. All of this was extremely tedious for level 100 players who had become mages and wanted to try out the warrior class for a while, but only for a short time. The "Perfect Warrior" spell was a solution to that problem. Allows you to convert all mage levels to the warrior class and use equipment that you would not normally be able to use. When Ainz wears it, he can use Touchme's armor without problems, although he cannot use any other magic in return.
For this battle Ainz used many Cash Items, more than ever in his entire life. Each of the sticks he broke allowed him to automatically store and equip his teammates' weapons. Especially the bow was what surprised Shalltear the most, because it is the favorite weapon of her creator.
At the end there is a strange phenomenon where Shalltear sees something like an eye on her back. To explain this I have to go back to the beginning of chapter 1, where they explain Aura Bella Fiora's abilities in the light novel. The dark elf's breath can cause various effects, most notably fear. Aura can use her breath at great distances to terrify others, especially creatures in order to tame them.
Naturally a vampire like Shalltear has resistance to these effects, but she probably doesn't have complete immunity. Therefore, instead of fear, what she feels is that there is "something dangerous" behind her and thus she is distracted long enough for Ainz to finish breaking his last Cash Item. We see a very small fragment in which Aura is exhaling a kind of purple wind, which is precisely her Fear ability, the same one that we saw Aura use against Hamsuke to provoke him in chapter 7.
Resurrection magic is performed using spells or wands. In players, the penalty for reviving was losing some levels. But the NPCs are not players and can be resurrected with money, lots and lots of money. Good thing Ainz decided to save it!

Lord Touch Me's character name is based on his skill.
He was the one of the 3 best World Champion class that his name literally asks everyone to TOUCH HIM, because he is untouchable.
According to the wiki, he was in the top 3 of World Champions. It never specifically stated he was the top. And even then, it states that his LN version is much weaker than his WN version. And by a large margin, too. Apparently, his WN version could actually fight all the Floor Guardians simultaneously and most likely win. And the LN is much more "balanced" in that he could supposedly probably win against two lvl 100 players at most. I've heard the rumor of his name origin before, but couldn't find any direct source. Can you tell me where you found it?

@@ShneekeyTheLostyep kinda disappointed because people never really get to know what his full name is, they usually assume it's a sexual innuendo or joke, but in reality it is touch me if you can which is just absolutely amazing
also the cash shop items Ainz used was the wooden sticks that stored all the weapons and armors of his former guildmates and are owned by Ainz now
Clarification and Context;
1. Those are not World Class items or replicas. Those are the actual gear used by his guildmates.
Remember when he said that before they retired, they gave their items and equipment to him. He had them stored in the treasury and had the golems that looked like his guildmates equip them.
2. Nazarick only has 11 world class items out of the 200 that supposedly exists. They are actually the guild with the most world class items collected. The second place only has 3.
3. There are 200 World Class Items, with differing effects and levels of power but there's a subset of called "Twenty." These world items are one use only but in exchange they are beyond broken. Nazarick actually has at least one of the "Twenty" though Ainz refuses to use it as it is considered one of their biggest trump cards.
4. The Spell that Ainz used, "Perfect Warrior," allows Ainz to temporarily transfer his levels in magic classes to a warrior one. He temporary becomes a lvl 100 warrior but in exchange, he cannot cast any spells and he also cannot use any warrior class skills.
He only gets the stats of a lvl 100 basic warrior without any access to skills. In exchange, this spell allows him to bypass any class related restrictions. It's the reason why he can equip Touch Me's armor even though it's restricted to only those with the World Champion class.
5. All World Class Items makes their users immune to the effects of other World Class Items. So if Shalltear actually had a World Class Item with her at that time, she wouldn't have been mind controlled.
6. Here are the World Class Items that we have seen so far;
- the dress worn by that old woman that Shalltear fought
- the scroll carried by Aura
- both the gloves worn by Mare(they act as one item)
- the scepter that Albedo carries sometimes.
- the red orb in Ainz's body.
- the throne in the throne room of Nazarick.
actually nazarick has 2 out of twenty.
Shorty is Aura's nickname that Shaltear gave her. And since their creators are siblings, they also have some kind of sister-ly relationship as well, though they kept denying it.
Shaltear didn't loose her breast, they are still the same (she's flat as a board), what she lost is her padding. That's why all of them are so mad at her, saying that.
Not only Victim, but Gargantua is as well a floor guardian (you will see both of them in the nest series).
If someone wonders why shaltears mind controle wasn't broke the moment ainz used the gowl of all life is death its because she didn't die ,her resurrection item died for her because of that her mind control only fated after she really died
correct. It´s not really a "resurrection item", despite being called like that. It is an item that acts a substitute that prevents death one-time only (basically like every cheat-death mechanic in basically any RPG). It makes more sense if you look at it from a RPG-, and especially a DnD-perspective, especially since the whole ability-system used in Overlord is heavily based on DnD. So, instead of getting resurrected, she resisted Ainz' "The Goal of all Life is Death"

The eye that distracts Shalltear was one of the Aura skill, and Shalltear was saying good bye to Aura (by saying Shorty)
The weapons are not world class items.
But close to it, they are the preferred weapons from the 41 beings, crafted using endgame materials.
If I recall correctly they are well within or even slightly beyond the realm of legendary gear, bordering on what World Items are capable off.
The sticks are pretty much instant equipment switch "tokens".
If you own a weapon and have it in your inventory, the stick allows you to instantly switch gear, skipping the stowing and equipping process.
Its been literal years sinds I read the first chapters though, so I might be misremembering some things.
His guild weapon, the staff of ains owl gown might have acted as one of the steps required to revive her without the need for other excessive steps.
Also some info on Touch Me, the full name is "Touch Me If You Can". He was the champion of the realm Alfheim. Putting him as a top 10 player in the entire MMORPG, however he's actually top 3 as revealed later on when the championship took place and all champions were in a battle royale type pvp. He placed 2nd (it was stated the guy who placed 3rd would beat Touch Me if it was solely 1v1)
Also fun fact: Ainz has never won a single PvP against Touch Me
Also for reference on how rich his guild was. He used 500 million gold to resurrect Shalltear, the guild posesses *2 trillion gold*
The eye that shows up at the end of the fight with Shalltear isn't the people watching Shalltear...they're long gone, heavily injured by her attack as they used the item on her to mind control her, which is why she went into "standby" mode which was the failsafe setting for the item. It's Aura intervening on Ains' behalf. He hesitated for a moment before using the hourglass because he was second-guessing his decision to kill Shalltear as he viewed her almost as a child to him, which may have given Shalltear a chance to, if not kill him, at least heal herself enough that Fallen Down wouldn't finish her off, thus ruining the whole plan. So Aura uses one of her skills, which allows her to taunt an opponent, drawing aggro from Ains for a brief moment to give him the chance to recover his resolve.

I feel like I should give some clarification for the scene that involved sheltier hesitating when attempting to attack Lord ainz. Specifically the eyeball that appeared behind her. That eyeball was not the person controlling sheltier it was a effect of aura using a intimidation skill on shelter from where Lord ainz Left them. That's who Sheltier was referring to as shorty.
"shorty" is shaltiers nickname for aura. the ons who mind controlled her are not waching her, shaltier killed the controller before recieving orders and thats why shes just been standing there
I think this is the first time that Ainz was *that* pissed off at someone. Whoever tried to mind control Shalltear had better be praying to whatever gods they worship, that Ainz never finds out who they are.
Not much things to go over in this episode so I'll only talk about the World Champion class.
• The World Champion class is a very special class in Yggdrasil. At this point, anyone could tell that the word "world" holds a very special status in Yggdrasil. From World Enemy to WCI to World Champions. The World Champion class is a super special class in that there are only 9 people who can hold this class. And it is arguably the most powerful class in the game. There is only one World Champion per server in Yggdrasil. And the champions were chosen based on a server competition. So these 9 players are the strongest players in the entire game. And the class is slightly stronger in the world they represent.
• World Champions were gifted a special item by the developers for winning the competition. Touch Me's item was his armor.
• World Champions are the only class that had the ability called 'World Break'. A superior version to the 10th tier spell Reality Slash.
• Although I've never read the WN, Touch Me was supposedly even more broken in that novel. The World Champion class also had another ability called 'Dimensional Gap'. And from descriptions, it could apparently make the user momentarily invulnerable. And this invulnerability is so absolute that when timed correctly even Longinus', one of the Twenty game-breaking WCIs, effect could be deflected. And Touch Me apparently had ridiculous motor skills and reflexes that allowed him to optimally utilize it.
the eye behind Shealtear was aura's fear breath, normally it not work on her as she undead. ya since she top teir it cost 500 mil game gold to raise her, pricey.

and black scripture was who shealtear attack and was partly mind wipe, resetting her to default npc mode.
Dudes... by shorty she meant Aura. You saw her just finishing something that felt like a whisper but denied having done anything when Mare asked her. Either she is more powerful than she lets on, or she used one of the world items to distract Shalltear even for a second to help Ains.

Facts about the weapons
all the weapons Ainz used and has are Divine class items and are basically End game items that they made/found to suit their builds/playstyle (they can be improved by adding effects as well)
the White Armor is stronger tho being classed as World Armor (like the World items are the strongest items in the game)
and is only given to those who win World Tournaments (best player in the world PVP wise) Hence "touch me's" name, Ainz was never able to beat him at all so he often trained with him to practice
The sword that took shalltears arm is "Takemikazuchi Mk 8" and the player who had this sword was obsessed with making swords, the Takemikazuchi Mk 8 is so powerful it can rip thru legendary and divine class armor like paper and was feared by everyone in Nazarik.
The Armor is a World Champion Class Item and it was given to Touch Me as a prize for winning Alfheims World Champion tournament. This items are unique and like world items indestructible. By winning the tournament Touch Me got the class World Champions which is the strongest Warrior Class as well as the title World Champion of Alfheim. There can only be a max of 9 World Champions and the tourneys takes only place if a world champions looses all his levels or delete his account. World Champion Items are even rarer than World Items and can normally only be worn by World Champions but there are ways to temporarily use them, like with Ainz Perfect Warrior Spell.
The weapons are not world items but rather the weapons of the 41 supreme beings that they gifted to Momonga before quitting. Ainz had his normal world item (red orb) and Aura and Mare had 1 world item each (the guantlets and the scroll) but that's all that's present on this battle field. "Shorty" was referring to Aura and it was Aura who distracted Shalttear before Ainz cast his 2nd super tier. I hope you're going to do the other 3 seasons?

3:50 Those are not world class items. The world class items are the ones that Aura and Mare have. These are the Supreme Beings' weapons that they got from the mausoleum.
To be a bit more specific. They are the weapons each of the other members ha d crafted and created themselves or are the end game of all end game gear (like touch me's armor which is only given by being among the top warrior class player in the entire world or the electric sword is Cocytus's creator being obsessed with samurai and creating hundreds of katanas while trying to perfect his own build)
