This is the most helpful video lesson I have found for an intermediate level learner like myself. It has practical conversations that are very likely to come up in the real world, and the subtitles are very helpful. It starts out nice and easy and slow, and from there progresses to more challenging conversations. Excellent! Please give us more like this!
@@essieongrind1809 Ich versuche es gerade. Sprichst du denn Norwegisch? Wenn man die norwegischen Untertitel dann hat, dann klingt vieles ähnlich wie im Deutschen. Aber sprechen kann ich es trotzdem nicht hahaha.

This is such a useful video. One without subs, one with, so a learner can hear the cadence and sound of the language, then see words for context. Thanks!
I have an app called tandem and I can't find that many norweigan users! Please join tandem and tell me your username when you do! I'm very passionate about learning norweigan and I can tell you anything you would like about English!
Great video! There is a lot of useful information on this channel! I'd like to recommend the excellent book by Yuriy Ivantsiv Polyglot Notes: Practical Tips for Learning a Foreign Language. This workshop contains many methods for learning a foreign language, showing how to use modern technology. The practicum will help everyone who is studying a foreign language on their own or with a teacher! Good luck to everyone! Thanks to the author for the work!
I've done alot of research and if you speak English native - Norwegian is truly the easiest language. Dutch is second runner up but has weird German grammar/word order. Norwegian i think is the easiest Northern Germanic languages.
I am having intention to study Norwegian and I'm trying to find an online English-Norwegian-English dictionary including phonetic transcription. Could anyone knows that help me pleaseeee ;-; thank you sooo much
It is difficult for me to "hear" the distinct pronunciations with these voices, and this is not the first time I've had this problem. I don't mean to criticize, but it may be helpful to know. Perhaps it's the microphone placement or the room dynamics. In fact, the female voice sounds a little robotic---so maybe both of the voices aren't coming from real human beings in the first place, which may very well be the reason I am having a little "hearing struggle." But, I am appreciative of the content and the fact that it is available. So, thank you.
At 7.40 "vil du ha kaffe eller dessert etter maltidet?" How on earth can someone understand this. No matter how much a replay it while knowing what comes its impossible to understand eller and etter.
This video uses "Vennligst" quite often. Which is quite a bit too formal for a lot of the settings used, I very rarely ever hear Norwegians use "vennligst" in simple conversations.
True. Usually, one just ads "er du snill" at the end of the sentence. It literally translates "are you kind" but means "if you would be so kind" or "please".
