Ohh no, did you just count to 9? Skipping the stinky fish fertilizer and that 20,20,20 is good stuff.

You gotta what you gotta do.
Blackberries grow like weeds around here, very invasive.
I grow Marionberries as they do not spread by seed, or at least it hasn't for me. Only spreads by the tips of the branches touching ground in the Fall.
    Happy Gardening !!

I kill all blueberries and brambles here and I could grow all of them just fine in FL. That is a very nice shout out to him. Thank you for sharing

Looks like a big difference based on the fertilizer regimen.

I would add poop but you don't have a poop pile like I can get so I don't blame you or shame you for using what you can get
Besides some have trace minerals added which could be lacking in regular soil
Oh ya you have a raised bed... Is it all a soil mix or any of your native soil in that raised bed?
    Blackberries have mostly shallow roots

We've had to use the chemical fertilizer we use on the wheat fields on our blackberries. I may try the foliar spray technique and see if I can't get them spreading out.

Usually on your second year blackberries grow like crazy. Third year growth is even more crazy. Be patient
