None of these videos actually explain the effects of microplastics on the human body, and this one has that in the title!

I think it's gonna be the next stage of evolution to be honest. You can introduce that much plastic into the body without it adapting to it. It's in the food bro. And not just the processed food. If this is right You can't "live off the grid" Yourself out of it. Those fish and deer You're gonna hunt have micro plastics

Excellent comment. This has been around for decades. People still live healthy lives and end up dying of old age. The no1 question is how is it affecting us, and how will it affect us as this increases, or does our body already have a good way of dealing with this.

What you also need to explain is the immune response that our body removes foreign particles so its important to support the immune system.

Here is a way anyone can see them in their own body, gargle red wine for a minute, spit it into a white tissue or filter paper, you will see tree like structures-these are the bundles of microplastcs.
To prove they are indeed plastic, do this: apply a 60v voltage across a brance (about 3mm), you will see transparent threads release from the bundle of threads, we all seem to have them, and they are very clear on a basic stereo microscope.
Theory is, they collect on the back of the tongue and throat, the slight acid in the wine releases them from the saliva and also makes them visible, though they are nm wide, they tend to bundle together so you can see them with the human eye.

or, hear me out: we should just stop using plastic as much as possible. Replace plastic containers and bottles with reusable glass ones, make toys out of wood or metal, and stop individually plastic-wrapping food items inside of larger plastic wraps, for a start.

@@minuette1752 there are indeed alternatives using plant products, but it would still be wasteful and extremely damaging to the environment to use plant-based plastics for all our current plastic needs. We would have to waste a ton of arable land to farm the corn or other plant needed to produce plastic, and such monoculture kills the soil over time, leading to us no longer being able to farm that land. And we would still have the problem of microplastics!

I think we need to vote with our dollars. Take it step by step to learn and find alternatives that are less toxic in all areas, not only in micro/nano plastics. If companies see that people are switching to these companies and/or products they may finally make a change or perish. But meanwhile, we are avoiding as much as we can. I started to do this, but please don’t panic. It is what it is and anything we do helps. Most decisions made out of panic end up being bad one more often than not. One step at a time and keep learning always.

Yes, cellulose is the most common plastic in the human body because it is the only plastic filament small enough to pass through the intestinal walls, and it is that all-important fiber that we just don't get enough of. It is the natural fiber that is in all vegetation on earth, and it is critical to controlling collesterol and sugar in our body's.
