Felt the Heat from Niu or the staff advised him to. It's best for the Team and for Him. He just didn't pan out for OU, and He can get a fresh start elsewhere.
Arnold is great and EXPLOSIVE and I hope he goes to a better place🙂 I ALSO hope that Brevin Doll from Oklahoma transfers soon🥸😎🙂 Brevin Doll is NOT being used properly and Doll is EXPLOSIVE, good and fast and he deserves better🙂 People should look up Brevin Doll and watch the videos that were made about him🙂
Good luck to JA. We should have kept Dillion Gabriel because Arnold wasn't ready and the bowl game last year showed it with the amount of turnovers he had.
Basically matt was trying to say is that the reason he doesn't have any teams to speak of right now is because everyone saw his film this year and thats why....
Well, he committed to play for then Oklahoma OC Jeff Lebby, so Mississippi State is likely on the radar. Wonder if the Bulldogs have the NIL to make this possible? Pretty sure Lane Kiffin will make a pitch, too. Regionally, LSU and Texas A&M should be in the mix. Better believe Ohio State will have feelers out.
How was this guy a 5 star recruit? When the going gets tough, some players choose to abandon their school. Just a shame what the game has come to these days.
IMO this is the coaches fault. Benching him in the Tennessee game shook his confidence. He wasn’t playing great but neither was Nico. They should have stuck with him all season and I bet they’d have 2 or 3 more wins
He had 3 turnovers in the first half alone against Tennessee. He had 4 turnovers in his very first start in last year’s bowl game. If his feelings got hurt because he couldn’t hang onto the ball, then he has weak feelings. Which he does. His turnovers cost the Missouri game as well. His last fumble occurred without anyone even touching him. He just dropped the ball while looking down field. I watched the kid all season. He had 1 good game against bama. That’s it. I have nothing against him, and was hoping he would come back and fight for his spot as a Sooner, but he’s not built that way. He’s worried Mateer will come here and beat him out. He’s upset with Oklahoma fans complaining about his play. He’s just not tough enough mentally, and this proves it. He wants to go somewhere he thinks will be an easier road for him. i wish him all the best, but I doubt that he’s going to find what he’s looking for outside of himself.
Yeah, I feal Arnold kind of got screwed thos season. Oklahoma made 3 mistakes this season. 1. They should have stayed in the big 12 one more season and worked on getting better coaches before hastily moving into the SEC. 2. this is a different age in football specifically college. OU needs to work on getting more corporate sponsors to help open up the check book. The CEO of Williams Energy Companies is an OU alumn. 3. OU needs to make sure their coaching staff is not a carousel of transfers and rehires every season. This looks really bad for a program specifically recruiting
Dumb comment. OU went 10-3 last year including a win over Texas. Do you think that Texas should have stayed in the Big 12 for "one more season" ??? This first year Texas is the Top-ranked team in the SEC, and OU is 6-6. No worries. The Sooners just got hammered with injuries and coaching chaos. Dylan Gabriel never should have been allowed to walk. MAJOR mistake. However, OU's roster is loaded - arguably the youngest in the nation, with 75% of the starters being Fr/Soph. What the most people don't understand is that Brent Venables refuses to play a lot of the young guys before they are ready. OU is in excellent shape for next year. QB Michael Hawkins had a better summer camp than JA; however, there was so much hype and politics behind JA that they went with him anyway. Not a problem because Hawkins is a true freshman. If John Mateer comes over from Wash St great - if not, OU will be just fine with Hawkins.
OU already has the former AT&T CEO, who is also an alum & major donor, in place to work the finances. As to staying in the b12 for any amount of additional time was not an option with being spat-on by the conference & very questionable refereeing the last year they were there. OU couldn’t leave the b12 fast enough after it was announced they were moving to the SEC. OU will bounce back from this season. Only casuals think OU will stay 6-6 (or worse) for seasons to come. 😂
Good move on Arnold's part. Oklahoma fans better get used to permanent second-class status to Texas. Texas has the BIG BIG $$$ and will be able to consistently buy up the best players. Will be good enough to be upper half of SEC with the very occasional challenge to be at the top. But your easy-living days of the Big 12 where you could pummel the midlevel teams are now in the past.
Texas was Oklahomas B in the Big 12 😆 Who do you think has all the Big 12 Championships?! (14 OU to 4 Texas 🤣) Also do a like research and google “top college boosters” you’ll find Oklahoma in the top 10. Even Oklahoma State is there. Oregon is #1 with a billion in Nike money. Plus to boot everyone said Texas got the softest schedule in the SEC this year Lol they got handled by a mediocre Georgia team (the best team they played)
The OL ,and coaches did not make Arnold fumble ,he owns that.
Not a Oklahoma fan but probably a good thing if they get the guy from Wazzzu
Felt the Heat from Niu or the staff advised him to. It's best for the Team and for Him. He just didn't pan out for OU, and He can get a fresh start elsewhere.
John Mateer coming !
Good for Oklahoma
Michael Hawkins will start for the bowl game I guess
Would Casey Thompson get the nod?
@@brad6420no Casey’s still hurt
@ oh okay, I was wondering why we never saw him.
"For some lucky team" Good luck selling that. All the problems with him was HIM
Oklahoma guy here, I wish him sincere luck, good kid, hard worker, great talent but was too young to start

Dillion chose to leave on his own. We couldn’t keep someone who didn’t want to stay.
Basically matt was trying to say is that the reason he doesn't have any teams to speak of right now is because everyone saw his film this year and thats why....
Mateer is coming for sure now
Well, he committed to play for then Oklahoma OC Jeff Lebby, so Mississippi State is likely on the radar. Wonder if the Bulldogs have the NIL to make this possible? Why would any of those universities inquire about his services when he was turnover prone and locked onto receivers?
He wasn't any good.
Don't wish the kid any bad fortune, but he made a lot of personal errors at OU that hurt the team. Probably better he moves on.
How was this guy a 5 star recruit? When the going gets tough, some players choose to abandon their school.
Just a shame what the game has come to these days.
Nobody has a school. They're all paid actors.
He should think about going down to a group of 5 school.
Don't let the door hit ya
Just teasin... Hope you find a soft spot to land.
Thanks for the hard work you put in.
Take care.
I think he will be decent with a Big 12 or Acc school. Houston, Rice etc
Division II, NAIA.
Fumbles and/or Throw the Picks and Watch the BV Hatchet Come On Down!
Praise god
I thought he’d have stayed for the bowl game at least
Heck no he won't pass but takes sack after sacks
IMO this is the coaches fault. Benching him in the Tennessee game shook his confidence. He wasn’t playing great but neither was Nico. They should have stuck with him all season and I bet they’d have 2 or 3 more wins

You haven’t been watching if you believe that.
Um, he needed to be benched before the Tennessee game with the amount of turnovers that were directly a result of poor play on his part.
2 or 3 more wins!!!!!!!
Tennessee's first MVP of the season wants to leave? Beat it!
Fear Mateer
Fantastic qb for a lucky team she says lol 😂
Come to Auburn 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
How about going to LSU.
They can’t all be Lagway
Well go get him auburn,
Boomer Sooners Baby
Arnold to Miss St

Even with a offensive line Jackson Arnold sucks
thank god, was so excited for him to play for OU until I saw how horrible his mental makeup is.
See ya 😂😂😂
Ou fan
Bye.
A weak, quitter. No future in him.
How does this make him a quitter? It was obvious he was going to transfer after he got benched
arnold was a 5-star in his own mind & fluffed-up blue chip report------- in reality a 0-star

Fumble machine
Better fix that pathetic o-line or it won't matter who the QB is .
This new recruiting class will more than help with Faucsi leading the way
