I lived in Watford 9 months last year ( 2019 ) and although they were hard 9 months separated from my family, I fell in love with this city and I miss it more then my hometown. It's a beautiful place to live in.
40 years lived, was once very nice. Not so much now as you can. Glad I got out to the countryside with beaches. Will look even more glum once those high rises pop up around town.
they’re popping up like mushrooms after rain , even the bus garage in Garston has been levelled for housing , the dregs of the sink estates of north London have been shipped in and crime’s going through the roof , the locals are referring to it now as Croydon-On-The-Colne
@@bobmathews9072 Stayed there for 2 nights b4 flying out and back from Heathrow, this was last February/March. Gonna look and feel like Wembley unless this hasn't happened already.
Yep already happened , wish I’d pissed off to Oz like my cousin back in the 90’s but even Oz is suffering the “delights” of multiculti now , it’s like there’s no escape , I’m glad I’m 50 , it’s the white kids growing up strangers in their own country I feel sorry for , it’s spot the white kid coming out of secondary schools like Francis Combe nowadays @@ryminsta
Happy days , “student night Thursdays” in Kudos (even though we were too old) , last minute “grab a munter” song was always Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty , then swerving into Hayri’s for the obligatory kebab before the trek home@@daveUK1066
I went to school in Edgware and kept being asked what London borough do you live in, so the school, could claim from them. I couldn’t get them to understand Watford is not in London.
to think only a few months later half the nightclubs would be shut and everyone would be locked up at home or trotting round in those wretched face nappies

Thanks for taking us with you. Good content, just walking with no music. We aren’t as brave as that. We both grew up in Watford, so thank you ❤️🌈👍🎥
I remember the night club Paradise Lost on the Parade. I wonder what it is now.
It went on to be called Kudos...then Destiny... Now prizm
@@daveUK1066 Cheers Dave !

So your 1st Streets of London walk is in a town that isn’t in London? 🤔
I've never seen the High Street so empty!!
Well it’s on Christmas Day innit
