I Traveled To Every City Square In Georgia, USA | Compilation

  • I traveled to every single city and town of all sizes in the state of Georgia. I filmed the city square of every single one and put it in this compilation video. I found 373 city squares total.
Keep in mind, many towns or cities in Georgia don’t have a square. So to be clear, this a simply a compilation video of only the square of every city that has one. There are also many larger cities that doesn’t have a prominent city center such as holly springs, John’s creek, Warner bros, etc.
Other terms of city square are downtown, city center, or town square. Many smaller towns only have a post office or another government building which wasn’t necessarily enough to consider it a town square.

This is so great. When I was just joining the workforce, I got tasked along with 3 other guys to go across the state and teach state agencies on how to use the PCs that we set up for them to use in addition to the state mainframe. I saw so many county seats across the state. This accomplishment of yours makes me remember those times and has me looking to add some cities to my "visited" list. I noted the following time stamps in the video for cities that I have a personal connection to in some sort of way:
    Albany 2:07
    Blairsville 5:26
    Blue Ridge 5:40
    Canton 8:13
    Cleveland 10:05
    College Park 10:45
    Cornelia 11:52
    Dahlonega 12:46
    East Point 14:59
    Ellijay 15:36
    Flowery Branch 16:37
    Gainesville 17:18
    Helen 20:16
    Hiawassee 20:31
    Marietta 26:14
    Sandy Springs 36:14
    Savannah 36:35
    Smyrna 37:30
    Thomasville 41:15
    Tybee Island 42:27
Thanks for the fantastic video compilation!

I like historic documents like this. It can be difficult to appreciate the value historically until you see someone else’s from 35 or 40 years ago and see how much things have changed.

This video is beautiful. It shows how beauty can be found in any town or any part of the state, whether it's a city like Albany or a small town like Wrightsville. It's just the way you look at it. Some might find old storefronts hideous, while I see them as a time capsule to a much different part of our country's history. :)

Wow, I know this took a lot of time and effort to compile this fabulous video of the cities and towns of the great state of Georgia and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. I was born and raised in Alabama, but have now lived in Georgia over half of my life. As I have family and friends in several parts of the state and also love to travel, I’ve been through a good many of these towns, but not all as you have. Thanks for sharing this video with the world. If you ever do the towns of Alabama, let me know since I have ties there as well. It was good to see the small town of Brooklet on here as that is where I now reside.
