I don't care about the explosions in space argument. I absolutely Loved the name of the ship, fantastic. I was a bit confused before the Bird of Prey showed up though. Wasn't sure what was going on with the Cherokee and the smaller ship with the image of the raptor on the bottom. Granted, my personal knowledge of Star Trek lore is nowhere near some folks, so what do I know? It's all good. I enjoyed it, and the sacrifice at the end brought a tear to my eye. Keep up the good work! - JVD 8^)
Thank you! Watch the fan film linked to in the description to get the complete story. This was just a compilation of the CGI shots I worked on for the film.
I think it's tragic after Roddenberry's original vision of Star Trek exploring the cosmos to seek out new life and new civilizations that the whole thing seems to have been reduced to nothing more than endless 'pew, pew, pew'
In the late 70s and 80s when wargaming became an obsessive trend, Star Trek games became all about space battles. When TMP came out, younger audiences 20ish, they were dissapointed about no space battles....except the footage of the Klingons shot by the VGer cloud. Star Trek II rectified that and suddenly Star Trek was relevant again. In TOS and TAS space battles were twice a year. Maybe 3 times. That's about 10%. By DS9 and Voyager the ratio was at 50%. The movies are about 70%. So the line got blurred in 1982.
Worf would approve of this maneuver.
PREPARE FOR RAMMING SPEED!!!!
The Constitution Class was stunning. I wish the CG version of Star Trek:TOS looked that good. Really a beautiful job over all!
Thank you so much!
The Lost Starship is one of the best fan films I've ever seen.
Spectacular.
I agree with @SatoshiMatrix1. This is definitely something Worf would do. "Perhaps today IS a good day to die. Prepare for ramming speed!"
Brilliantly done!👍🏻🖖🏻
Boom awesome
Wow! Well done.
Thank you!
nice

'' RAMMING SPEED'' Lt. Worf
YER THE TWO OF THEM flying information was a BIT odd then The Bird of Prey showed up then I quickly got it .

Sometimes you gotta give the masses what they want in order to give the fans what they deserve .
I blame Jar Jar Abrams
LOL! No flaming explosion and smoke in an oxygenless space is a reality. Flaming explosions and smoke are visible only in the oxygen atmosphere. 👍🤣👍
Than how do rockets work in space?
Another Star Trek space battle. *yawn* The line between Star Trek and Star Wars has become blurred.
What line? ; )
