WCAG 2.2 vs. 2.1 Difference: 7 New AA Success Criteria Added (Web Accessibility Guidelines for 2023)

    In this video, Kris Rivenburgh explains the difference between WCAG 2.2 vs. 2.1 and 2.0 and then provides a quick overview of the seven new success criteria found in WCAG 2.2 AA.
    WCAG 2.2 AA contains 57 success criteria. WCAG 2.1 AA contains 50 success criteria. WCAG 2.0 AA contains 38 success criteria. Each subsequent version is backwards compatible which means no previous versions have been undone, only added to.
    The new AA success criteria are:
    2.4.11 Focus Appearance (AA)
    2.4.12 Focus Not Obscured (Minimum) (AA)
    2.5.7 Dragging Movements (AA)
    2.5.8 Target Size (Minimum) (AA)
    3.2.6 Consistent Help (A)
    3.3.7 Accessible Authentication (AA)
    3.3.9 Redundant Entry (A)

    Hey man, the WCAG website has additional requirements not listed here. Threre is a number discrepancy.
