Štruklji arn't really a dumpling. They could be better described as a roulade that gets boiled in a cloth (so that it keeps it's shape) plus some are/can be baked instead. For slovene dumplings Idrijski žlikrofi would be a better choice as an example.
Great video! 👍 Ljubljana looks beautiful, besides for the horrible graffiti. I just saw from another comment that you are also a Kiwi, that is awesome! I want to visit Slovenia one day too because I eventually want to move from New Zealand to somewhere in Eastern Europe, and so far Slovenia is looking like the best option.
hello hello! yesss, slovenia is super beautiful and extremely underrated. obviously would recommend testing the waters before making the move but if you’re used to the tranquility and beauty of nz, you’ll most definitely enjoy ljubljana and it’s surroundings

I'm not sure where you come from (I asume Australia) but regarding the brakes on the bike, they are swaped in Australia and NZ. Left is always the front brake in Europe/Americas.
(kiwi 🥝 with an aussie accent) ooo that makes total sense ahah. i’m used to driving on the opposite side in most other countries but riding a bike still feels quite strange in my brain ☺️
Loved this video! It’s not easy to find a fellow Asian-presenting female traveler in youtube, so happy to find your channel. Loved the narration style, the angles/shots and editing ❤️ I would love to visit Eastern Europe one day and was wondering, did you generally feel safe (no discriminatory vibes from people) while you were there? Would love a video on tips/reflections as asian traveler and recommendations. I’ve had the privilege to have traveled a lot, and mostly loved all the experiences..however sadly encountered some micro aggressions/racist behavior/remarks in certain places, so would love to hear your views and others’ ..looking forward to new videos!
thank you for watching and leaving such kind words! sorry to hear you’ve had some not so nice experiences in your travels. as for eastern europe, ive always felt super safe in the physical sense, but that’s not to say i didnt feel any curious eyes on me 😅 i think with time eastern europeans will become more familiar/comfortable seeing tourists from a variety of ethnicities. some communities are still quite conservative and old fashioned in terms of values, world view etc. i don’t really regard this as discriminatory, though, as i didn’t feel the intentions were hostile, per se. will keep chewing on your request to make a video on my experience as a solo female (asian) traveller 😚 appreciate you stopping by and hope you stay a while 🫰🏼
Maravillosoooo! Me encanta la música :)
sos maravilloso 😘

yep, grafittis in some streets are really terrible (and many of them are even 30+y old)
oh groza res ... bi rajši sterilno, betonsko mesto?
@@zdravkohorvat8522 V centru mesta zagotovo.
