KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK || KAZIRANGA ORCHID PARK

Kaziranga national Park is one of the World heritage site located at Golaghat district of Assam. Kaziranga is famous for great one Horn Rhinoceros. World's two third of one horn Rhinoceros population is concentrate in this region. Besides one horn Rhinoceros Kaziranga is also known for other wildlife like Tiger buffalo deer etc.
Kaziranga National Park is divided into four ranges these are Eastern range or Agoratoli range Western range or Barogi Central range or Kohora and Burapahar range.
One can do jeep safari in all theses ranges in morning and afternoon hours. Elephant safari is available in Bagori and Kohora range and per head cost is RS.900 for Indian Citizen.
Jeep safari price is different depending on the range. Generally is costing around RS.2800 to 3600 per vehicle.

After visiting Kaziranga national Park one can also visit Kaziranga national orchid park which is very near to the cental range. Around 500 to 600 colourful orchid species are found in this Kaziranga national orchid park.
If you love waterfall then you can visit Kakochang waterfall which is located at Karbi anglong district of Assam but within 25km from Kaziranga national Park.
