Is the Colosseum the Best Wonder of the World? 🇮🇹
So far in our travels we have visited 2 of the 7 Wonders of the World. The first was Chichén Itzá. The Mayan City in Mexico was so nice we visited it twice. The second Wonder of the World we have been to is the Taj Mahal. This mausoleum complex in India includes the most magnificent building we have ever seen in real life.
In today's episode, here in Rome, we visit the Colosseum. This 2,000 year old amphitheater was home to gladiatorial shows and other events. And if you have ever been to a stadium, for a concert or a sporting event, you have been in a building that was influenced, by the architectural design, that was perfected by the builders of the Colosseum. We will visit the largest and most famous amphitheater in the world, but first, we have to get there.
